How did you like this book? Anything unique about this book that you really liked? Does this book deserve all the hype it's getting? Are you excited for Crooked Kingdom?

I'm almost done with this AND OMG IT'S AMAZING! So far it has been more than living up to the hype and making me wonder why I didn't read it sooner. After this I really need to picm up the Grisha trilogy.

I just finished this. I NEED CROOKED KINGDOM RIGHT NOW. I adore Inej and Nina and their friendship and also Jesper. He was a little ray of sunshine in this book! I actually enjoyed all the characters and their complexities and their relationship with each other. Ugh, everything about this book was amazing.

This was one of my favorite reads of this year so far. I loved the world, the characters, the plot, just everything basically. It also made me really want to read the Grisha trilogy because I thought that aspect was super interesting to read about!

I finished and it was amazing. I'm glad we chose this book because I definitely needed the push to read it and am regretting not reading it sooner. This book I feel like definitely deserves all the hype it's getting. The concepts in the novel were very interesting to read about and was always making you think but in the good way. I've shipped Inej and Kaz since they first met and I hope they finally end up together in the next book but of course authors like to change things so who knows. I really like the friendships developing with all the different characters. I'm super excited for Crooked Kingdom now.

THIS FUCKING BOOK. Illuminae was my favorite book of the year, and it still is, but this one... WOW. At least number two or three. I didn't love how the plot slowed randomly at certain places, and then picked back up, because I ended up getting bored. But the end was just fantastic, and the characters' progression was huge. Kaz... Sweet Kaz. You are my angel, and I will protect you. In fact, all of them are wonderful. I suppose the only person I didn't love was Wylan (is that his name? I'm terrible at character names), because he didn't really stand out to me as much as the others. STILL. Oh, if you're looking for a good soundtrack for this book, you should listen to The Phoenix by Fall Out Boy. DAMN PERFECT.
