To my surprise, I saw A Court of Mist and Fury, which isn't supposed to be out next week! Ahhh I didn't expect this at all, so I might sneak this one in instead of the books I had picked out for my tbr! I'm not sure yet. I also got The Winner's Curse, which I originally wanted to read during the readathon.
So, my book pile where I'll choose from for the next 24 hours:
- A Court of Mist and Fury
- The Winner's Curse
- Angelfall
✓ - The Witch of Duva
✓ - The Little Prince
- Pride and Prejudice
- To Kill a Mockingbird
- Me Before You
✓ - The Giver
✓ - Kindred Spirits
I tried to have a mix of longer and short stories and different genres. I will see what I'm in the mood for!

1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today?
I'm reading from Amsterdam, The Netherlands
2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?
I would love to (re)read Pride and Prejudice because I can't remember it at all. And some of the smaller stories, because I usually go for longer books instead of novella's.
3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?
I got a brownie/fudge chocolate bar on the table that's been eying me all day!
4) Tell us a little something about yourself!
I'm 26, I've studied Journalism and currently work as an editor for a company that has mostly cities and towns as clients (we deliver the content for their websites).
5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to?
This is my first read-a-thon and I'm looking forward to connecting with other people, seeing what everyone is reading and how they're spending their busy reading day!

1. What are you reading right now?
Pride and Prejudice. I really hoped to read a classic during readathon because I usually don't go for them (so many 'new' books that need to be read!)
2. How many books have you read so far?
I've read 2 small ones: Kindred Spirits by Rainbow Rowell and The Witch of Duva by Leigh Bardugo.
3. What book are you most looking forward to for the second half of the Read-a-thon?
Continuing P&P and starting The Little Prince!
4. Have you had many interruptions? How did you deal with those?
I am house- and catsitting for friends so I don't have the same distractions I would have at a regular weekend at home. But I didn't really plan for the readathon because I knew about it on such short notice, so I already had a lunch with friends planned. Next time I'll be sure to really book a weekend for myself because I want to be able to see how much I can read!
5. What surprises you most about the Read-a-thon, so far?
The social amount is huuuuuge! I knew there would be a lot of participants, but I just can't keep up with the hashtag on Twitter. I love the Goodreads group, but I notice I'm more scrolling through answers than actually participating. But I'm learning this all so I can have even more fun next time!

Thanks for the support! I loved reading the novellas, since I usually don't make time to read them because I like a bit more depth. But Kindred Spirits was a cute and quick read and I absolutely love The Witch of Duva. Hope your readathon was great too!

Currently I'm reading:
An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir
A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman (audio book)
The remaining hours of the readathon I might read:
The Tales of Beedle the Bard by J. K. Rowling
Rooftoppers by Katherine Rundell

Here's the list of books I will choose from:
Own books:
✓ A Court of Mist and Fury - this is my current read and I have 77 pages left
✓ Alice's Adventures in Wonderland - the illustrated edition (175 pages)
✓ Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them: The Original Screenplay (293 pages)
Vicious (340 pages)
Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe (359 pages)
Lola and the Boy Next Door (384 pages)
Library:
✓ Anna and the Swallow Man (240 pages)
Audio:
✓ Hello, Universe (5h 17 min)
The Upside of Unrequited (7h 58 min)
A List of Cages (8h 17 min)
My Not So Perfect Life (11h 58 min)

1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today?
From the Netherlands
2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland - I have never read this classic and own a gorgeous illustrated edition, so it's about time to read it.
3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?
ANYTHING WITH CHEESE
4) Tell us a little something about yourself!
I'm 27 years old, my favorite genre is (YA) fantasy and I'm a bit behind on my Goodreads goal because I've been playing lots of Zelda..
5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to?
This time I have nothing else planned but the readathon, so I'm very curious to see how much reading and socializing I get done this edition! Also I prepared much better, food wise..

Thanks Ashley! It was great to finally read it, and the illustrations were truly a work of art.
