Hahaha, that's great XD SO EXCITED FOR THE MAZE RUNNER THO :D

I can see how people are anorexic. They want the thigh gap, the collar bones, the tiny waist...and they'll go to the extremes to get it. Even guys have problems with it. And it doesn't help when there's quotes everywhere like

"Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels."

"You're stomach isn't growling, it's applauding."

"Skip dinner, wake up thinner."

And the list goes on.

message 255: by Unbroken Silence (new)

Unbroken Silence | 150 comments GMT. It's 0:30 here

Julia 1. Potatoes.

2. It's applauding for food.

3. And dead.

I shall have a remark for all of them now...

@Unbroken Silence: They're kind of like... tiny hash browns. Usually about as wide as a thumb, except half the length? idk. Also, is there something shorter I can call you, like a nickname or something?

@Sierra: Exactly. I mean... I've always been secure with my body shape. And although I can't relate to people with eating disorders (mainly because I <3 food), I can see the potential appeal. And sometimes, when you exercise or diet, you don't lose weight as quickly as you might like (especially when exercising; I conditioned last year for golf - jogging, sprinting, sit-ups, push-ups, pull-ups, weight-lifting... and I didn't lose any weight because of muscle gain), so anorexia, etc. can seem like a quicker option.

Unbroken Silence | 150 comments To sleep or not to sleep, that is the question...

Guys help me out, bearing in mind I have to wake up in six hours should I stay on and have fun or attempt to go to sleep and lie awake for ages?

message 265: by [deleted user] (new)

@Alryss: Okay, cool :) And they are good. Very good. Perfect and crispy, too.

message 266: by [deleted user] (new)

attempt to go asleep with the computer. Like just be reading and trying to sleep but you know having the fun and sleep.
This is really complicated

message 270: by [deleted user] (new)

@Sierra: Yeah, I expected to lose weight when conditioning... haha, no. But I got in good shape, at least.

@Alryss: I've never actually fallen asleep in class though... almost, but not quite.

message 271: by Unbroken Silence (new)

Unbroken Silence | 150 comments Okay. If I suddenly stop posting assume I have fallen asleep with my phone.

Julia And:

Imagine:
You just painted the most beautiful picture ever. It was exactly what you wanted. You absolutely love it. The person you give it to points out all its flaws... How does that make you feel?

God is the painter, and you are the person it's been given to.

Reality:
It breaks God's heart when you constantly criticize yourself, because he has made you perfectly. You are perfect in his eyes.

Remember:
"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that well." Psalms 139:14

If your religious...

@Grumpy: I don't like them... I LOVE THEM. I listen to their music all the freaking time and my sister wants to like shoot me because she's sick of hearing it.

@Sierra: Good luck! And that was last year, lol. They stopped requiring conditioning for the "wimp sports" (i.e. golf, tennis) so I don't condition anymore... and am now hopelessly out of shape.

@Alryss: It's basically my school's excuse to get rid of our conditioning periods to make more time for the "important" sports (i.e. football, baseball, volleyball, basketball). It's considered one at my school because it doesn't involve long distance running.

@Sierra: BE STRONG, MY FRIEND.

Oh, okay. And I'm terrible at baseball/softball. I would need more hand-eye coordination for that. :P

I have to leave you all lovelies now.

Aubree, is Marching Band a "wimp sport?" Most people don't consider it a sport, but it IS. We are out and working just as much, if not MORE then the football players. *humphs*
