What an absolutely glorious book! My choice for #2, Mother's Day, family/mother/relationships. What Lies Between Us by Nayomi Munaweera is a wonderful 5★ novel. It is magnificently written. Sri Lankan girl from traditional background is taken to the US in her teens but is still haunted by her family's demons right into adulthood. Not about war - about family.
