Alex, thanks so much for doing a second pick for Maya! It wasn't required, but it was extremely nice of you to do!

LOL, Amber! I've been wanting to get The Pepper in the Gumbo forever, so I am really glad you chose it!

Rumpel's Prize is one I've needed motivation on, so that's why it's here. Be forewarned though, I've not enjoyed the previous books in the "spin off" series, so I may not like this one. However, since I've purchased the books, my OCD just won't let me abandon the series until I've read all of it! And I'm going to admit to blasphemy here...I've not seen Once Upon a Time! My daughter raves about the show though, so I guess it is a good one.

Just for you, Amber, I'll make time for Good Girl Gone Plaid! I'm actually kinda glad you threw it in there, as I've heard Samhain Publishing is going out of business. Since there's 2-3 more books in the series, I'd like to pick them up before they disappear if I enjoy this one!

message 105: by Jodi (new)

Jodi (jojolyn) | 673 comments Hi Marty!

I choose Distant Waves by Suzanne Weyn , at first it appealed to me because of the cover but then when I read the blurb: who doesn't like reading about the Titantic.

Which lead me to pick The Band That Played On The Extraordinary Story of the 8 Musicians Who Went Down with the Titanic by Steve Turner .

Happy Reading!

Side note: did you see the recent YouTube video of the Titantic sinking in real time. Quite eerie!

Anyway, I pick these two for you:

Lover Eternal (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #2) by J.R. Ward and 3rd Degree (Women's Murder Club, #3) by James Patterson

I've always enjoyed James Patterson, and the Lover Eternal was just a random choice since I didn't know a lot about the other options you had.

Enjoy!
