The March Reading sprint was lots of fun. Glad we are doing it again!!
I'm planning to join, but I need to study the time... no idea what I'm going to do next saturday yet.

As a reminder, I'll be reading for the full 24 hours, so I won't be as chatty or be making sure that people are there for their slots. If anything doesn't get filled, I'll be able to fill it in with my reading. :)
Karysn - I don't know what times I will be reading on Saturday, at least 12 hours, so I can also fill in some slots if needed.
I can take the 4 to 5 AM slots. I'm almost positive only one up on a Sunday morning at 9 around here. I can read till little around one or so, so....

Anyone else able to sign up now to join in? I'm not going to be around to take new people on Sat, so signups will close Friday evening and the open slots will be taken between Angie and I, both who are reading for Dewey's.Those of you joined up already, if you want more slots, go ahead and give me any time(s) you'd like to take. If there are no more sign ups, I'll be adding you in this evening and tomorrow during the day.
I'm not doing dewey's because it starts at 1 PM here, and I'll be around my little niece.But, I'm going home saturday night, and I'll probably be reading, so maybe I can take up some more.

I can take the first hour (8-9 am) and I can also do the second hour if no one else wants it (9-10 am). With no kids in the house (except the four-footed kind!), Saturday mornings are usually fairly quiet!I've never done a sprint before. Do we post when we start?

Jenn, it's easy to do a sprint. A few minutes before your time begins, just go to the other thread (locked now, will open prior to this starting) and post that you are around for your time slot and are ready to begin reading.
During your time slots, you read the whole time (obviously things may come up, but the point of sprints is to read non-stop). When your time is up, come back and tell us what you read and how many pages that you read. And that's it. :)
Typically I'd be around each time slot to make sure that the readers are around and are getting their times in, but this time around I'm going to be reading for Dewey's at the same time, so I'm not going to be around as much. IF anyone misses their times, I'll consider it covered by myself, Angie, or anyone that is going to be around for Dewey's that day.

Dammit I was going to take the 1-2am remaining thinking it was tomorrow, but it's not, it's Monday my time, and that's a public holiday for me so I actually can't do any sprints because I'm working on Sunday, which is this time's Saturday, and then got my boyfriend coming round.
Well crap Maddison, that stinks! :( Well a bunch of us will be reading all/most of the time anyways, so feel free to sneak in if you can get some time somewhere. Someone will always be reading. :)
You can add me after you on Sat. That's 2-3 pm (8-9pm my time). And I can take next hour too if it stays empty :)
You can also fill me in for the slot between 2-3 pm if that's needed. I'm doing Dewey's so I don't mind in fact I know that I'll enjoy myself!

Signups are closed, but if anyone wants to sneak in during the night (for me) I'll add you at 7am.
I will be around throughout the day, so I will probably pop in and cover some of the open shifts. I'll know better tomorrow.
The bowling event isn't until 6 EST so I can maybe cover something before then but we won't be home until after 10.
I can't believe I almost missed this! Sprinting is like one of my favorite things on here. If there's any way I can sneak in, I'll read from 5:00 to 5:30 and 5:30 to 6:00 PM. If not, I'll read during that time anyway, knowing that others are reading along with me. :)
I had never heard of Deweys before I saw your post Karsyn. I am relatively new to Goodreads and the online reading community as well. Deweys looks fun and I thought, hey why not?So with this being my first, I don't expect to go the full 24, but I will read as much as I can. You can plug me in any spotds you need to, as I've found reading with others fun!
