I'm actually glad that the other demigods won't be as important in this, or atleast the ones who have already been in so many series, like Percy. It kinda allows all of us to slowly get used to greek myths without them, in case Riordan ever chooses to continue in that direction as well.

As for the 'phasing out' of the older demigods, it makes sense to me. I mean, I would like to have a NA set in that world, but I don't think that's going to happen. Although, I'm not sure how likable Meg is. She hasn't won me over yet. And Apollo is soooo whiny!

It's winter. In the previosu two series, and which is mentioned in this book, most demigods return home during the winter months for school, which is why it's empty.

Chapter 10 (view spoiler)[ Apollo is an interesting narrator to say the least. I wonder who this adversary is? The girl he loved, is it Daphne? It kind of sounded like it might be her since he was describing a girl turning into a tree and she turned into the Laurel tree. I wonder who Meg's godly parent is. OMG PERCY<3 I love him, hopefully he'll show up again later. And Will! I already like him, but where is Nico!? I need to see Solangelo right now!!!! I'm glad Apollo cares for his kids and wants to rescue them, but you can't just go rushing into these kinds of things. You need a plan. I wish Annabeth was here. Or maybe they could ask Malcolm. Apollo has some of his powers and helped defeat the Colossus and they managed to save the five demigods, Paulie and the grove. That arrow is so funny. I foresee Leo & the arrow spewing sass. I hope Annabeth shows up in the next one even if it's only briefly or Jason, Piper, Frank & Hazel. I want more Solangelo too! They're so cute!! "I have a doctor's note." and "Lord of Darkness". I loved seeing all the old characters throughout the book. I kind of wish to be back in their heads, but that's not quite the point of this series. I still loved it!

Sad I won't see them as much. I orriginally read the Percy Jackson series in elementary and middle school. Sad to see them go.

I've read 2 novellas, 1 book in verse, 1 play and 5 novels so far!! Phew that's a mouthful. I'm on vacation at home so that's why I've been reading so crazy. I have to go back to work next week though :(
