This book is about a impoverished woman who ends up becoming married to this english noble because she attemted to steal for him and he gave her the option of death or marriage. I think he wanted to marry her to tick off some relative or get out of finding a bride. He takes her home u his (uncle or father) begins teaching how to be a proper lady. They end up having a falling out and the lady leaves, pregnant and ends up working at a bakery. The man looks for her and eventially finds her swollen and pregnant and then took her home.
I think the cover had a picture of a red head on the cover but im not sure. it was a paperback. I thought the name was Daniel's Bride but when i looked it up the book wasnt the one I lost. Been looking for this book for years please help!
