Help needed finding a regency romance that starts off in London and ends up in Australia

In this book a fiery-haired (her hair is described as fiery red and curly) young lady leaves/escapes from London disguised as a young man in order to travel to Australia to find her brother who works on a ranch there after her father's death. Upon arriving in Australia her disguise is seen through by the hero who owns the ranch, she begins to work as servant in his house since she discovers her brother is dead in a suspicious drowning accident since she cannot go back to England. She doesn't buy the story about her brother's drowning because she knows her brother was an excellent swimmer. The hero sleeps with her thinking she is a loose young woman only to discover she is a virgin and he then sends here away to his elderly aunt or something since he is betrothed to another woman who is somehow involved in the seedy business that is connected to the heroine's brother's death. I came across this book years ago-maybe 2003- and I've been trying to find it since. I don't remember the names of the characters but that is the gist of the story. I'll appreciate any help. It's a really old book. haven't come across it since.
