Good advice though about not pulling a gun like that, too. My dad was a homicide detective and told stories about this very thing happening all of the time!

That's true. He didn't have to pull it, especially since the other guy wasn't armed but I guess we can't assume that either. Ch1(view spoiler)

I've heard of a military escort, so maybe it does exist, lol! Really, though, I would not be totally surprised if it did.

Do u know much about planes? He loses me when he starts describing planes and all they entail.
I know a little, mostly from other books. I don't know what all the different types are that he's talking about other than 1 or 2 of them.

I'm about 15 minutes away from Wright Patterson AFB and since my dad is retired air force I've been on base several times. As far as where the aliens are, I have no idea. It's prob restricted too but I'm gonna look into it. I wonder if they do tours or something...lol.

Of course, when you said that, I immediately thought of my favorite lines from Jack Burton in Big Trouble in Little China. So, what you're telling me is to "sit tight, hold the fort and keep the home fires burning; and if you're not back by dawn, to call the President"? :)

Been a crazy day today! Haven't done any reading, prob not til tonite. We going to a semi pro baseball game later. I haven't watched the movie yet but I plan to before the weekend is up.

I finished it but was expecting a bigger twist at the end. Good story, but way too sci-fi for me (sorry). Just couldn't hack all that UFO flying language. Plus I really wanted aliens to show up in the story! Not sure what I'm gonna rate it yet.
I would have guessed you'd feel that way. :)
I'm glad I finished it this time. It certainly is different from the other books he writes. So what's next?
