Arthur Gunawan | 6 comments The character that I want to analyze today is from the book of Roald Dahl, titled BFG (Big Friendly Giant). BFG is a 24 foot tall giant. He spends his time collecting dreams and stores them in his home, before giving good ones to the children around the world. Unlike the other giants, BFG does not eat humans, demonstrating compassion. Instead, he subsist by eating snozzcumbers, which are absolutely disgusting and frobscottle. He taught himself how to write by reading Charles Dickens Nicholas. BFG has extraordinary hearing abilities and is also a fast runner. While he is also intelligent and kindhearted.

Neha Shinde | 15 comments The Enemy by Desmond Bagley
Malcolm Jaggard, a main character from the first person narrative of adventurous and espionage thriller book 'The Enemy', stars as an undercover detective working for the government of Great Britain. As he has a duty to maintain his perilous job confidential, Malcolm keeps a low profile by introducing himself as an economist to most people, including the ones closest to him. Working as a servant of politicians, he has been trained to be observant, perspicacious, canny and tough. He can be utterly obstinate as a mule at his own will and frequently not follow commands in the dark unless he is well-informed on reasons why he ought to do so. The British Intelligence agent certainly has a mind of his own, being able to separate rights from wrongs. Malcolm is a deeply benevolent man and is head over heels and devoted to his wife to be, Penelope.

He is also a fearless guy who is always ready to take any types of challenges. He is also good at acting. So that he can lie in front of the Germans.

Shannon | 19 comments Feyre is a beautiful, female protagonist in this book called 'A Court Of Thorns And Roses'. She is an extremely interesting character, to say the least. Feyre is the youngest of all her siblings yet she took care of her whole family. She is also exceptionally cunning and brace as she has to hunt in order to feed her family. This also show that she is an extremely caring person. Despite saying that, Feyre has a heart of stone and rarely show any type of emotion-not to mention the loathe she felt for faeries.

Although Feyre is quick and skilled, her lack of knowledge in literature had gotten her in a near death experience but her determined and unyielding personality had saved her. She, in my opinion, is one of the most string-willed and stubborn character i've ever read about.

Her curiosity and carelessness led her to danger, but nevertheless, she managed to save an enchanted world from a wicked 'shadow'. The character growth of Feyre can be seen throughout the cool and it's particularly fun seeing her have a change of heart and opinions for a certain people-how she now thinks if her enemy as her family-.

Jasmine | 20 comments The book I read is The Secret Garden. One of the novel's two protagonists, Mary Lennox is a ten-year-old girl who, after the death of her parents in India, is sent to live with her uncle in Yorkshire, England. Mary changes drastically over the course of The Secret Garden: she evolves from a spoiled, unloved and unloving creature to a girl who is full of spirit and surrounded by friends. She begins the book as its central character, but is later displaced by Colin.

Karsten Eugene | 3 comments Alec d'Urberville

Alec is important in the story Tess of the d'Urbervilles and he is a bad guy in the novel but he slowly changes throughout the story. He is a 24 year-old man and the nemesis and downfall of Tess' life. His first name, Alexander, suggests the conqueror, as in Alexander the Great. His full last name Stoke-d'Urberville, symbolizes the split character of his family. In reality, Alec is not d'Urberville but instead, his family was named Stoke, then Stoke-d'Urberville and later just d'Urberville

Rian | 4 comments from ghe book "the hobbit", written by J.R.R Tolkien, the character that i am going to talk about is Bilbo Baggins. Bilbo Baggins, the protagonist of The Hobbit, is one of a race of creatures about half the size of humans, beardless and with hairy feet. He lives in an unspecified time that is at once ancient and also very like the Victorian age, with its cozy domestic routines. Like most hobbits, Bilbo is fond of the comforts of home and hearth: He loves good, simple food in abundance, and he loves his pipe and well-furnished hobbit-hole.

Matthew | 13 comments The character I chose for this assignment is Dr. Maxine Cassidy as she's a hard working and sensitive doctor that thinks poor people have the same rights as the rich. She likes justice and that´s why she´s in love with detective Grabowski.

P.S, THIS IS JADE NOT MATTHEW

Jennifer | 9 comments Waverly, like all of the other daughters in The Joy Luck Club, is really smart and can also be really snobby. At least she also admits that sh is petty but very competitive. This comes out in her chess games; she has always been a model of success, winning chess tournaments as a child and eventually building a gainful career as a lawyer consultant at Price Waterhouse which she thinks is required a competitive nature. From her relationship with Rich, we see that she likes being the leader of a situation. Like her mother, Waverly, like her mother, demands the very best. Yet she is capable of great love and affection.

Bryan Chan | 3 comments The character that i want to analyze today is, Boxer, from the book of Animal Farm. Boxer, the cart-horse whose incredible strength, dedication, and loyalty play a key role in the early prosperity of Animal Farm and the later completion of the windmill. He has two mottoes which are "I will work harder" and "Napoleon is always right".

Delicia W | 16 comments The character I chose to anaylze is Jane from the book Jane Eyre. She posseses a sense of her self-worth and dignity, a commitment to justice and principle, a trust in God, and a passionate disposition. Her integrity is continually tested over the course of the novel, and Jane must learn to balance the frequently conflicting aspects of herself so as to find contentment

Tania Hartanto | 36 comments Character Analysis on Beatrice "Tris" Prior from the book "Divergent"

Beatrice Prior is the main protagonist and narrator of the book. She is a strong-willed girl who hates showing weakness. She loves a good adrenaline rush and she does not let other people dictate her behavior.

Beatrice is generally noted as Tris in the book. Tris is a divergent. Being a divergent means that she does not belong to one faction. She is brave, strong, bold, intelligent and selfless. These traits make her different from the other characters since they do not have as much traits. Being different is what got me fascinated into the character of Tris Prior.

Dyah Lavia | 13 comments The character that I chose is Baloo from Jungle Book. Baloo is a brown bear that speaks up out of the kindness of his big cuddly bear heart. He is also a kind and generous teacher who teaches Mowgli. Despite being so sweet and kind, Baloo is pretty hard on himself, he blames himself when something bad happen.
