Ooh this is good because I've had a copy of Clockwork Angel on my tbr bookcase for about 6 months now :)
UGH everyone is talking about this series as well as TMI! I couldn't even get past city of bones.. It was so boring. But people are telling me "read till city of glass, you will like it" Plus it is written in 3rd person which really bothers me.
Yes I know but I feel so left out because many people talk about it on YouTube and GR and I can't. :/
You don't need to feel left out :( You can't force someone to read something they don't want to... That's a recipe for a reading slump lol :D
True. I just wish I could see the hype over this series. Only way to know is to commit myself, but I'm not ready for that yet.
Well you know yourself better than anyone, when your ready to commit to this series, you can discuss it with us :)
I preferred the Mortal Instruments series to Clockwork Angel, but I'm up for a buddy read of the second book if anyone else wants to? :)
I tried to pick this up today but I'm in the beginning stage of a book slump :( nothing is sinking in with any book I pick up :(
I'm sorry to hear that Kirsty :( If you get a chance to listen to Talon on audiobook, it's good enough to keep you interested... I'm listening to it and I've been in a reading slump for 6 months
Kirsty, I recommend picking up Percy Jackson and the Olympians, book #1 The Lightning Thief. I read it yesterday, and it made me happy and it's really well placed and I think it can take you out of your reading slump. If you already read it, then I recommend any Stephanie Perkins book! (Anna and the French kiss companion series)

But the AatFK companion novels is a good idea, I've read Anna last year and finished Lola last week so I might pick up Isla tonight when I go to pick up my book order from Waterstones :)
I've just downloaded Clockwork Angel on Audible. I'm enjoying it so far but I'm not a fan of the English accents the narrator is trying to put on, being English myself it's always grating when Americans over exaggerate the accent.
I started listening to this a few days ago and I'm just over half way through, I'm enjoying it but I'm finding it a little predictable and quite average but I might have expected too much because everyone raves about the series.
