Daniella thought about it for a minute before beginning to answer. "He'd be really late, not just a few minutes but anything over half an hour without calling or having an acceptable excuse. He wouldn't be interested in talking about anything other than himself and his interests. The entire experience would make me wish I was literally anywhere else." She pursed her lips as she thought, trying to decide if there was anything else. "Oh. He would be rude about me being a vegetarian." She added with a slight smirk. "I think that's it really." Jamie grinned at her as he put his napkin back down. "Thanks." He said softly and then went back to eating.
Zayne nodded as he listened intently, he thought about everything that she said, making notes in his mind. "Right, I guess I better show you my real side then." He said "I'll make sure I'm more than half an hour late for our next date." He said with a chuckleIssy smiled across at him. "I guess it tastes good then." She said to him
Daniella laughed and rolled her eyes at him. "Next date?" She raised her eyebrows. "Aren't we being a little presumptuous?" She asked teasingly. She would love to go on another date with Zayne and the idea that he did too gave her butterflies again. Jamie chuckled and nodded. "Yeah it's good." He admitted. "Not as good as your cooking though." He added and smiled at her. "Nothing beats that."
Zayne looked at her again, grinned with another slight laugh. "I don't know, an I? Maybe iv ruined this date enough that you don't want a second." He said, her reactions just slightly proved to him that he hadn't done anything wrong yet, or maybe he had. Issy smiled proudly at him, finishing her dinner "I'm still a good cook." She said to him happily.
Daniella smiled and shook her head. "No you haven't ruined this date. Don't worry." She reassured him as she finally finished her glass of wine. "I'm just teasing."Jamie grinned. He finished eating and looked over at her. "I'd be surprised if you weren't. Your cooking skills are just a natural talent."
Zayne grinned as she reassured him, he needed just that little bit to tell him he wasn't going stupid. "Oh good." He said, the waiter came over and took their plates then asked about desert, he looked at Daniella "would you like something?" He asked her Issy finished hers off just after him and sat back a little. "Umm..." She thought "I wouldn't say it's natural talent." She said as laughed
Daniella looked at Zayne and then nodded. "I'd love to have dessert." She said softly as she picked up the menu again to look over the dessert options. "Are you having something?" She asked and looked up at him with a sweet smile. Jamie raised an eyebrow at her. "Then what would you say it was?" He asked her curiously. Issy's meals were the best he had had ever eaten and no one could argue otherwise. He refused to believe that there could be anyone that cooked better than she did.
Zayne nodded to the waiter who got them the menus then left them, he looked at her "yeah I might." He said and looked through. "What if we got one of them to share?" He asked seeing some where 'to share' types. "Practice." She said and giggled a little. Smiling across at him. "It never just came to me." She told him
Daniella looked at the options in the 'to share' section and then nodded. "Yeah that sounds good to me." She said and smiled up at Zayne. This was easily one of the best first dates that she had ever had. It was just so easy to relax and enjoy herself around Zayne. Jamie shook his head. "Nah. If I practised as much as you did and then tried to cook something I guarantee that if you made it too then you're would be better be far." He told her and smiled at her.
Zayne smiled at the agreement an nodded, looking at the menu again. "Is there one that you like the sound of most?" He asked Issy smiled a little with a soft blush. "No really." She said it's not talent at all." She told him
"I'm a sucker for anything chocolate." Daniella told him softly and smiled. "So my only preference is something with chocolate. After that you can decide." She said sweetly. Jamie chuckled and gave in. "Alright. So you have no cooking talent. Is that better?" He asked playfully and winked at her.
Zayne nodded and looked at the menu once again. "Yeah chocolate sounds good." He said "how about this?" He asked her and pointed to a selection of chocolate delights to share Issy smiled happily and nodded "yep, that's good." She said to him
Daniella leaned forward to look at where he was pointing and then nodded. "Yeah that sounds good to me." She said softly as she moved back to sit in her seat. Jamie laughed softly and shook his head. "I love you." He said to her as he looked at her in complete adoration.
Zayne smiled with a thankful nod, looking at her "good, decided." He said "did you want another glass of wine too?" he asked her Issy blushed as she gently took hold of his hand, holding it softly "I love you too." She told him honestly, he was everything to her even before she was shunned. "I'm sorry the engagement got called off."
Daniella considered it for a moment. "Are you getting another?" She asked softly. She didn't want to feel like she was having too much but of Zayne joined her for a second glass then she wouldn't mind. Jamie smiled at her and gave her hand a squeeze. "Oh. Speaking of the engagement." He took his hand back and reached for the chain around his neck hidden by his shirt. He took it off and then carefully handed it to her. On the chain was her engagement ring which she had been forced to give back to him before she fell. "I thought you might like this back."
Zayne nodded swiftly, looking at her again and smiling "yeah, I was thinking I would." He said "probably a red if were having chocolate." He said Issy looked at him confused before he had pulled the chain away from his neck, he eyes widened a little as she put her hand over her mouth and her eyes watered "Jamie." She said, it almost felt like he was proposing all over again. She tried to stop herself from crying as she nodded and took the chain and the ring. "I thought if never see this again."
Daniella nodded. "Another glass of red wine it is then." She said and smiled at Zayne. She leaned back in her seat and looked over at him, a soft smile still on her lips. Jamie smiled, relieved that she was reacting well to this. He had been worried that she wouldn't. "I've kept with me ever since you gave it back." He told her softly. "Hey, it's okay. Don't cry sweetheart." He said as he got up and walked over to her side so he could better comfort her.
Zayne was very content with just sitting across from her and smiling, looking across the table and admiring her beauty. "I wouldn't like this day to end." He said to her Issy gently put her head against him when he walked over to comfort her, she tried not to cry and soon stopped herself. Issy looked at him again, kissing his cheek "I love you." She said to him
Daniella smiled. "Neither would I." She said softly as a faint blush coloured her cheeks. She told the waiter their order when he came back over to take away the menus again. "What was your favourite class in high school?" She asked, going back to their little game from earlier. Jamie cupped her cheek and used his thumb to gently wipe away a stray tear. "I love you too." He whispered and kissed her briefly. He pulled back and looked at her lovingly. "Are you okay?" He asked her softly.
Zayne was about to tell the waiter before she did herself which made him laugh a little, he nodded again to the guy then looked at daniella, thinking about his answer. "My favourite class? I think it's gotta be multimedia." He said to her "yours?" Issy nodded as she looked at him again, smiling a little more, watching him again. "I'm good." She said "I would like to get home soon though." She said quietly to him
"History." Daniella answered without hesitation. She blushed again and shrugged. "Does that emphasise further how boring I am?" She asked playfully and brushed her hair from her face again. Jamie nodded and returned to his seat. "I'll pay the bill and then we can go home." He told her. He signalled to their waiter for the bill and then got out his wallet. Once the waiter brought over the bill he paid it and then smiled at Issy. "Whenever you're ready sweetheart."
Zayne chuckled at her quick question, shaking his head "no of course not." He said to her, smiling "history is definitely a great class." he admitted to her "I did kinda like it." He said Issy smiled as she watched him and let him pay the bill, she would sneakily give him the money later on. "I'm just going to the ladies." She said quickly before she got up an headed to the bathroom, having to go across near deniella and zayne
Danielle smiled. "I just find it fascinating really." She admitted and gave a light shrug. She glanced around and thought she saw Issy heading into the ladies' room. She raised an eyebrow and bit her lip. "Excuse me a moment. I'm just going to dash to the ladies." She said to Zayne before getting up and going to the bathroom. Jamie nodded and smiled at her. "Alright. I wait here for you." He told softly and leaned back in his chair comfortably.
Zayne nodded a little, letting her go and head to the ladies room, he sat back in his chair, relaxing happily although he had been the entire time. He didn't havt to worry when he was with Daniella. Issy used the toilet quickly then walked back out and washed her hands, drying them before fixing her hair and makeup
Daniella walked into the bathroom and saw Issy. "Issy!" She squealed and ran over to hug her friend. "What are you doing here?" She asked happily, still holding onto her.
Issy was a little shocked as she heard her name then felt someone's arms around her, she ten realised who it was and laughed a little, hugging her back. "Ella! Hey." She said "I'm we came for dinner." She said almost like she expected her to know who with
Daniella frowned as she tried to think who Issy could be out for dinner with. There was no way it was a date. She hadn't done that since jam- "Oh." She said and then nodded. "That's cool." She said and smiled. She was happy for Issy regardless of her personal feelings. She had watched her best friend struggle without her lover for too long to not feel happy for her.
She smiled a little and nodded, looking at her best friend again. "Jamie's back... Again." She said "he's here for work though so.." She sighed and looked down as she cut herself off. "It's going to be hard to say bye again." She said then showed her the ring "he kept it dani." She said to her
"It's good that you get to see him though." Daniella said, trying to make sure that Issy stayed happy. They would deal with the problem of saying goodbye when it came to that. "Oh Issy." She whispered and looked at the ring in awe. "It's still the most beautiful thing I've ever seen." She said softly and then hugged her friend again.
Issy looked at her best friend then at the ring again, smiling slightly and nodded "I know, I still can't believe it was mine." She said and sighed "now I'll never get to wear it properly." she said, feeling down again.
"Don't say that. You and Jamie are meant to be. You're soul mates. All that crap." Daniella told Issy firmly, but there was still a friendly tone to her voice. "It's gonna work out somehow. I don't know how or when but it will. Okay?" She said as she held Issy's hands in hers.
Issy looked at her again again, smiling with a slight nod, trying to feel a bit better "I hope so." She said "dani I really don't know if I will see him again when he goes back. We've been researching but we can't find anything that will help me to return. Us.. You and me." She said
Daniella didn't have the heart to tell her she didn't want to go back at least not tonight. "Let's not talk about this tonight. We're keeping our dates waiting as it is." She said and smiled at Issy. "How about you come over to mine tomorrow? That is as long as you aren't busy with Jamie. Obviously while he's here spend as much time with him as you can."
She looked at her as she nodded a little, putting the ring away safely then smiling a little "no, he's working all day." She said to her "I was hoping we could hang." She said to her "it would be nice." She said as they began to walk out
Daniella nodded and walked out of the bathroom with her. "Great. Come over tomorrow whenever you like." She said softly and smiled. "Okay. I have to go. I've left my date long enough and I think dessert might have arrived." She wiggled her eyebrows before hugging Issy one last time and then going back over to Zayne.
Issy looked at her again quickly "you're date, who is he?" She asked curiously needing to know before Daniella would go back.
Daniella stopped as she started to leave and went back to Issy's side. "Zayne from work." She answered and bit her lip. "You know, the new guy who I've been training this past week."
She looked at her again, smiling a little "oh right.. Yeah I know who you mean." she said "I didn't realise you two were like... Well.. Dating." she said to her "but I'm happy for you." She said and smiled "he's nice."
Daniels shrugged. "It's nothing official yet. This is just a first date." She said softly. "I really like him Issy." She said, a wide smile on her face. She had been on numerous dates with an uncountable amount of guys but this date was by far the best one so far.
Issy giggled a little and nodded "I guess I can see that you do like him." She said, smiling at him, looking at her again. "I really should let you get back." She said to her, smiling "jamie and I are going to head home anyway."
Daniella nodded and smiled at Issy. "Okay. I'll see you tomorrow. Any time you like." She told her friend before walking back over to her table with Zayne. "Hey. Sorry. Turns out Issy was in the ladies and we are incapable of having quick conversations." She explained to him as she sat back down. Jamie was waiting at the table, wondering what was taking Issy so long in the bathroom. He didn't question it though, deciding it was easier just to wait on her.
Zayne looked back at Daniella when she took a seat, glanced past her towards the ladies room the back at her "I was beginning to wonder." He said "any way, out dessert came." He said obviously as it sat between them Issy nodded to Daniella "sure I'll text you." She said then rushed back to Jamie, she picked her jacket and bag up "sorry. I bumped into dani." She said "ready to go?" She asked him
Daniella smiled at him apologetically and then looked at their dessert. "Oo. It's looks great." She said as she looked back up at Zayne. "Shall we start?" Jamie looked up at Issy and smiled. "Oh okay. Don't worry about it." He said and then stood up. "So does that mean it was Daniella that you saw earlier?" He asked as he pulled on his coat.
Zayne looked at her again, smiling an nodded "yeah, it does look good, let's start." He said and smiled Issy nodded "yes, but wasn't sure if it was actually her." She said, beginning to walk out with him, smiling happily
Daniella smiled and started to eat their dessert. "Good choice." She complimented Zayne when she found out how delicious it tasted. She glanced up at him and found her eyes lingering on his lips. She looked away again and silently cursed herself over how smitten she was for him. Jamie nodded and took Issy's hand again as they walked outside. "Okay." He said softly. "So is she here for work or something?" He asked curiously, knowing how work orientated everything Daniella did was.
Zayne nodded happily as he looked at her and watched her, he then took some of the dessert and tastes it too, smiling as he thought it was good. Issy shook her head a little "no, surprisingly she's on a date." He said honestly
Daniella couldn't stop herself from thinking about kissing Zayne. She had a million arguments telling her why it was a bad idea - they had only met a few days before, this was only the first date, and many others, but she just couldn't help herself. She stopped eating to take a large drink of her wine in the hopes that that would distract her slightly. Jamie nodded. "Oh well. What a coincidence." He said and smiled as they walked. "Do you want to watch a movie or something once we get home?" He asked softly, changing the subject because he didn't know what else he could say about Daniella and her date.
Zayne was still trying to focus on other things although his mind too kept going onto thinking about Daniella and wanting to maybe even kiss her. He looked at her again, raising an eyebrow. "what are you thinking?" He askedIssy nodded as she held his hand, walking back down the road as they didnt drive. "Yeah, that would be nice." she said. "What movie?"
Issy giggled some more and nodded "perfect. Much better." She said to him
