"Like a date?" Daniella asked, partially teasing him but also being genuine in her question. She was enjoying spending time with Zayne but so far their relationship was purely work related. She wanted to know if they could still enjoy each other's company outside of the wrk environment. She smiled at him as she waited for his reply. Jamie walked around with her and nodded. He sat down next to her on the bed and smiled widely. "It's amazing Issy." He told her honestly as he turned to face her. He held onto both of her hands and smiled. "I was worried that after you fell you would struggle, not because you weren't strong but because it can be difficult to build a decent life in this world. But seeing all this just makes me feel stupid for ever doubting you." He said softly.
Zayne looked at her again, a little embarrassed but the question. "Well I ... If you'd like it to be it can." He said to her, looking at her, almost waiting for her to tell him what she'd like. "Unless you don't want to at all." He said quietly, he wanted things to be about work between them however he also wanted to get to know her more on a personal level. Issy sat with her legs crossed over and looked at him, sitting facing him, she held his hands gently, looking at them. "I did have it tough." She said to him, looking at him. "It's taken me all this time to get where I am today." She said
Daniella smiled and gave a shrug. "I'm perfectly happy either way however I don't wish to make you uncomfortable." She said and looked at him. "If you'd like it to be a date that would be great, if you'd rather we just went somewhere as friends that's equally as great." She told him kindly, noticing how he seemed to be conflicted over the subject. Jamie nodded and gave her hands a gentle squeeze. He gently lifted her into his lap and held her close. He pressed a kiss to the top of her head and sighed. "I'm sorry I waited this long to come and see you." He whispered into her hair and then closed his eyes.
He looked back at her, he had finished his food by now and was listening to her, admiring her features once again. "But I don't wan to make you feel uncomfortable." He said when she mentioned that comment, a slight smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "How about we start as friends, see where it takes us." He suggested to her. Issy softly leaned her head against his chest after he had pulled her into his lap and kissed her head, she listened to the soft best of his heart and sighed with a relax. "I'm sorry iv put you through all that I have, I wish it never happened." She said, thinking about what had happened. "Please don't let me talk about it." She added "Jamie I love you." She said again and looked at him. "D-did you ever... Ever see anyone else?" She asked worriedly, more of the point she wanted to know if he slept with any other angel.
Daniella sipped her milkshake and nodded. "That sounds good to me." She said and smiled at him. She had just gotten herself a sort of date which was the best she had done in a long time. Usually she never made it past the first date if she even made it to that point so this was a step in what she hoped was the right direction. "As you've probably figured out I'm free pretty much any time so..." She said and smirked. "It's okay. You don't have to apologise." Jamie reassured her softly. He ran his fingers through her hair absently as they sat together. "We don't have to talk about any of that if you don't want to." He promised. At her question he pause to think of how to answer it before shaking his head. "I tried to move on and date other girls but I never even made it to the end of a first date." He admitted. "I love you too much." He said and smiled at her.
"How about tonight then?" He asked her but ghe story wasn't too sure where he would even take her, he had to take her to something different, then it came to his mind suddenly. "Unless you're going to see issy, she probably needs you huh?" He asked her, letting her make the decision. Issy relaxed in his arms and listened, when he admitted he had tried but it was too hard a small smile spread over her lips, she was sort of relieved, she too had tried to move on but she couldn't, she loved Jamie more than anything
Daniella was slightly surprised when he said tonight but kept it hidden. "I'm not sure. I was going to call her later but I never said I was going over to hers..." She trailed off and frowned slightly. Even she could tell how shallow she sounded. "Maybe not tonight then." She added after a moment. "Any other night works though." She said and gave him a sweet smile. Jamie looked down at Issy in his arms. "What about you?" He asked her softy. He wasn't sure he really wanted to know if she had been with other people but he couldn't stop himself from asking. He played with her hair as he held her close to his chest.
"I completely understand." He said "another night," he said and smiled to her, but didn't choose another night just yet. It was almost time to head back to work which just caused him to sigh a little as he was enjoying himself. Issy looked back up at him, she shook her head "I could never make it past and in some cases to the first date.. I tried." She said "all I want is you." She said
Daniella nodded and smiled at Zayne. "Do you want my number so you can text or call or whatever when you're free?" She asked, almost shyly. She knew their lunch hour was nearly over so she started to pull on her coat. She wanted to go get coffee before she went back to the office. There were coffee machines inside the main building but they never tasted quite right. Jamie smiled and let out a sigh of relief. He was glad that Issy couldn't move on either but it also upset him. Maybe if she had moved on from him then she wouldn't be in so much pain now. He could stay for a while now but he would have to leave again at some point. What then? He had no idea when he would be able to return to her. "Let's not talk about the past tonight." He said to her and kissed her nose lightly. The past was too depressing to think of he just wanted to be with her and be happy.
Zayne looked at her again, picking up his bag. "I uhh.., yeah, that would he great." He said to her, waiting to be given the number. Issy nodded a little, hugging him and relaxing, kissing his cheek. "I love you." She said, closing her eyes when she listened to his heart best again
Daniella found a pen in her bag but couldn't find any paper. She grabbed a clean napkin from the table and quickly wrote down her number, reading it over a few times to check that it was right. "I'm pretty sure that's it." She said as she handed him the napkin. "I've never been great at remembering it and I always forget to have it written down somewhere." She explained as she stood up from the table. Jamie smiled and lay down on her bed still holding onto Issy. He held her close and smiled at her words. "I could say that again and again until the end of time and I would still never be able to tell you how much I love you." He whispered to her as he looked down at her beautiful face.
Zayne smiled as he watched her, taking the napkin and placing it into his pocket. "Thanks." He said "I'm not that good at remembering mine either." He said to her, thanking the girl behind the counter on his way out with her. Issy laid down with him, resting her head on his chest again, her eyes closed once again. "I will never get tired or saying it." She said to him softly, smiling.
Daniella waved goodbye as they walked out. "I'm going to go grab some coffee quickly. Do you want me to get you anything?" She asked as she pulled her coat tightly around her. It wasn't a particularly cold day but for some reason she was still cold anyway. She adjusted her bag on her shoulder as she stood there looking at Zayne with a smile. Jamie smiled widely. "Are you tired?" He asked her as she closed her eyes. He started to play with her hair, more than happy to just lie there with her. He suddenly realised it was the middle of the day and she was at home. Until now he hadn't realised why that was odd. "Issy, why aren't you at work?" He asked her and frowned slightly.
Zayne shook his head as he looked at her, watching her tighten the jacket around her "no I'm good thank you." he said "I'll just meet you back up stairs." He told her before crossing the road. Issy sighed as she nodded to his first question, relaxing with him, she sighed a little and looked up. "I didn't feel well." She lied.
Daniella nodded and watched as he crossed the road. She waited until he was almost inside before she starting walking. As she walked to the small coffee shop she pulled her cigarettes from her purse and quickly lit one. Her lunch with Zayne had been a great distraction but she was still stressed about the events of that morning. Jamie could easily tell that she was lying but he didn't call her up on it. There was obviously a reason for her lying to him so he wasn't going to question her. "You should rest then." He told her softly as he continued to play with her hair. "Don't worry. I promise I'll be right here when you wake up." She whispered and smiled at her.
Zayne took the elevator up the building and to the floor where his office was.. Well, where Danielle's was. He took a seat in the chair he was using as read over his notes, making sure he knew what he had to do. While he waited he entered her phone number into his phone too then sent a message. -hey, making sure this is you're number.- he sent, waiting for her reply when he then saw her phone on the desk and light up with his message.
Issy pulled a blanket up around her as she laid with him on her bed, closing her eyes and trying to fall asleep. "What mission have you got?" She asked tiredly
Daniella stubbed out her cigarette and then went to get herself a coffee. On her way back to her office she spritzed herself excessively with perfume. She had found that reeking of coconuts was preferably to cigarette smoke. She stood in the elevator fixing her hair and adjusting her skirt so that she was pristine before going to her office to find Zayne. Jamie moved his arm to let her pull the blanket over her but put it back around her immediately after she was lying down beside him again. "Nothing major. There's a woman who's struggling a little. They want me to keep an we on her, check in and make sure she's okay. It's nothing exciting really." He told her softly and started to play with her hair again.
Zayne was waiting patiently for her to come back, he had fixed his own suit and look before she returned. He was completely unaware that se had been smoking when she returned, he smiled a little "hey." He said She smiled softly "your a good guardian Jamie." She said, kissing his chest gently then relaxing again, trying to fall asleep.
"Hey." Daniella said and sat down in her chair. "Oh there's my phone!" She said and smiled as she saw he device lying on her desk. She quickly checked it and saw both the text from Issy and from Zayne. "Yes that is the right number." She told him and smiled before putting her phone away and turning her computer on. "Right. Back to work." She said softly, wasting no time before diving straight in to where they had left off. Jamie smiled widely. "Thanks sweetheart." He whispered softly. "Get some sleep." He told her as he continued to play with her hair. He quietly started to whisper sing a song to her, remembering how that used to help her fall asleep.
Zayne chuckled a little at her reaction the nodded and went straight back into work. ((Ff?))
She drifted off to a nice good sleep, laying on him happily
((Yeah. We could skip to when Ella and Zayne go out together or to just after work for them? I don't mind either way. Then I guess skip to when Issy wakes up? :3))
((Yeah. Maybe issy asks jamie if they can go out for dinner and they bump into those two?))

Zayne was waiting for Daniella just outside her apartment building, he had already let her know he was there and she said she'd be down in a few minutes. He felt like he was waiting forever though. Issy looked over at Jamie as he sat on the couch and waited, she giggled a little "I'm almost gone." she said, grabbing her boots and pulling them on, almost falling over as she did so.
Daniella had just finished running around her apartment getting ready when Zayne text. She quickly did a few last minute touch ups before she grabbed her handbag and made her way down the stairs to Zayne. "Sorry!" She said as she opened the door to him. "I took slightly longer than expected." She checked she had her keys before stepping out and letting the door shut. Jamie chuckled and looked over at Issy. "Darling we've been doing this for years. A few minutes with you means another couple of hours." He teased as he watched her putting her boots on. He didn't mind waiting for her but he loved to wind her up about it.
Zayne chuckled as he pushed himself off the brick fence out the front of her apartment "it's fine, iv only been freezing my butt of out here." He teased her. She looked at him again, laughing "oh shush you." She said and grabbed her handbag then walked over to him. "I'm ready babe."
Daniella smiled apologetically as she walked over to him, her red heels clicking on the ground. She was wearing a figure hugging black dress with a V shaped neck line that revealed some of her cleavage, it went down to her mid thighs and had long lacy sleeves. It had taken her forever to pick the right outfit but she was glad she had chosen this. She felt incredible as she stood in front of Zayne, waiting for him to say or do something. Jamie stood up from the couch and offered out his arm to her. He had been reluctant to go out with her like this because the more time they spent together in public the more likely he would be to get caught. But when Issy had asked he couldn't say no to her, and really he wanted this as well. He led her out of the apartment and then looked at her. "I don't know the city so you get to pick where we go to eat." He told her and smiled.
Zayne looked her up and down once she stood in front of him, he was totally speechless. "You... Daniella you look magnificently gorgeous." He said to her truthly, he was so astonished. "I ca-I feel under dressed now." He said though he was wearing a nice pair if jeans with a shirt hand a suit like jacket with some nice dress shoes. Issy looked at him when he closed her apartment door, she gently held his hand and smiled, looking at him as she began to head down the road "I know a nice restaurant." She sai to him, smiling happily. "You look so handsome." She said
Daniella blushed at his compliment. "Thank you." She smiled at him and then laughed softly. "Don't be daft. You look incredibly handsome." She reassured him. She smiled at him and brushed her curled hair put of her face. "I'm ready to leave if you are." She said softly. She would have started walking herself but she had no idea where he planned on taking her. Jamie smiled at Issy as they walked. "And you look beautiful as always." He told her sweetly. He watched her for a moment before looking around them. He had been here for a few days now but everything was still so unfamiliar to him.
Zayne was still admiring her when she mentioned she was ready to go, he nodded slightly "right., yeah." He said and held his arm out for her to take "shall we?" He asked Issy blushed ever so softly and looked at him, smiling a little "iv missed this.. I mean... You know.. Like iv missed going on a dates with you." She said, holding him close. "I want to keep this going forever." Se said "but I know it can't." She said aware that he would have to leave in a few weeks
Daniella smiled widely and took his arm. It had been so long since she had gone on a date that she couldn't help but feel excited. She kept it hidden though, not wanting to appear weird or anything like that. She felt comfortable around Zayne though, after spending the past few days together in her office they had bonded pretty well. But she didn't want to talk or even think about work right then. Jamie looked at her with a sad smile. "I know sweetheart. I've missed this too." He said honestly and sighed softly. "When I went back the other day I did some research, trying to find out if there were ways that a fallen could return." He told her and bit his lip. It was the first time he had mentioned this and he wasn't sure how she would take it. He had initially assumed she would be all over the idea but then the more he thought about it he wasn't sure if she would be willing to leave her life on Earth.
Zayne looked at her as he walked, smiling more than ever. "So, tell me more about you." He said. "And nothing to do with work, I want to hear about you." He said to her, walking down the street towards the main strip of restaurants and shops. "What's you're favourite colour?" He asked her to get her started Issy looked at Jamie as she walked, had he really gone and done that? Would she admit she had too? She had to, she had to tell him now. "I ... The day I went home I did too, I did some reading." She said to him. "Tryin to find something."
Daniella opened her mouth to speak but then shut it again when he said it couldn't be about work. Outside of work there wasn't much to say about her. She had always thought herself to be a rather boring person. She was grateful when he asked her a question giving her something direct to answer rather than a general statement. Though the question was simple answering it proved not to be. White had always been her answer before she had fallen because it was the colour of her wings but she had grown to hate the colour since then. "Blue." She finally said. "But the sort of blue the sky goes just as the sun is setting, it's pale and sort of orange-y." "Really?" Jamie was a little shocked to hear that but it pleased him. "So you want to do that?" He asked and bit his lip. "If we can find a way you would want to come back?" He asked softly, trying to hide his personal excitement at the idea. He didn't want to push her into anything she didn't completely want to do.
Zayne looked at her and walked along, nodding it slightly with a smile too. "I know what type you mean." He said to her, smiling again. "What's you're favourite animal?" He asked her after a moment longer. Issy thought about it more as she walked along with him, still holding his hand. "I would think about it." She said "but it's not easy, everyone shunned us." She said to him. "But I miss you, I miss my family." She said, sighing "as I can't leave Daniella all alone."
Daniella held onto his arm as they walked and smiled. "Do dragons count? I always thought that they were pretty cool." She said, a slight grin on her face. "I actually almost got a tattoo of one." She admitted and looked at him with a smirk. "Does that count as fun?" She teased. Jamie nodded in understanding. "That's okay. You don't have to decide now. We don't even know for sure that it's possible." He pointed out as he walked along with her to the restaurant she was taking him to.
Zayne laughed a little and thought about it "well it means you have a great imagination." He said to her, looking at her happily, opening the door to the restaurant for her to walk in. "Ladies first." He said Issy stopped walking for a moment and kissed his cheek gently. "I love you." She said to him, smiling "we will find a way." She said, then began to walk again, holding his hand. "Were close by." She said
Daniella laughed softly and then walked inside. She thanked him for holding the door and then looked around. "Wow." She gasped as she looked at how great the place looked. She didn't recognise it so she could say for sure she had never been before. Jamie looked at Issy with his eyebrows raised when she stopped walking. He then relaxed and smiled at her. "I love you too." He held onto her hand and continued walking again. "Oh okay." He nodded and smiled at her again.
Zayne smiled at her reaction, he hoped how she had reacted was a good sign and that's how he was taking it, they were led over towards a table for two which sat close by to another free table for two. Zayne pulled out the chair for Daniella, waiting a moment for her to sit them helping her to push it in.Issy looked at him again, she tried to imagine what it would he like. To be back home. Would she still be shunned upon? It had been more than 6 six years, surely they didn't still believe Daniella and herself could have done it. She was getting a bit nervous as she thought about it. She tried to think of something else, walking up to the restaurant doors with him. "Tell me what's happened, what iv missed." She said to him
Daniella grinned and sat down in the chair tucking it in with his help. "Thank you." She said sweetly and watched as he went to sit down. "This place is gorgeous." She told him honestly as she stole another look around it. She turned her attention to Zayne again and smiled sweetly. Jamie was unaware of her thoughts as they walked together. "What you missed?" He asked and raised his eyebrows. "What? You mean back home? All the gossip?" He asked and smiled playfully.
Zayne took the seat across from her after he helped to push her seat I carefully, he smiled across at her "I'm glad you like it so far." He said, letting her take another look around them and get comfortable. "I suppose you havnt been here before then?" He asked to clarify Issy nodded, walking into the restaurant with him, waiting for someone to show them where to sit. "Yeah, back home. The gossip? What did I miss?" She asked him again, wanting to know
Daniella shook her head. "No I haven't." She confirmed for him softly. "Have you?" She queried as she slipped off her coat and put her bag at her feet. She leaned her arms on the table and looked over at him with a smile. "Okay. Well uh..." Jamie started then stopped to think. "My neighbour got engaged. The one you never liked much, Esme." He told her, trying to think of big things that had happened that were happy or would make her smile. He didn't want to tell her all the negative things that had happened because he didn't want to make her sad.
Zayne took his jacket off also and put it around the back of his chair, looking across at her again. "Once." He said to her, smiling "they have good food I hear." He told her, putting his arms on the table too. "Ok, more about you." He said Issy looked at him, raising an eyebrow "ehh, her? Who to?" She asked him, walking behind a waiter who showed them to a table for two. She took her jacket off and sat down with her bag also down at her feet
"Shouldn't we order food first?" Daniella suggested and smiled at him. Her practical side was showing through but she was also stalking. She wasn't good at talking about herself especially when she was limited to not talking about her work. Jamie sat down after helping her to push her chair in. "The remember the guy who lived near your mom's house? The one who made really great cookies. It was him." He explained to her softly as he took off his jacket.
He nodded slightly "right, sure let's start looking." E said and picked up the menu, taking a look at it and deciding what he would have, he also decided on a drink to have too. Issy thanked him when he pushed her chair in, she raised an eyebrow again an nodded "oh really? I never would have put those two together." She said and giggled. "What else?"
Daniella smiled and picked up a menu. She looked through it, trying to find something that wasn't meat but that also wasn't a salad. She chewed her lip and frowned slightly before she found something she liked the sound of. "Do you mind if I order wine?" She asked and looked up at Zayne again. It wasn't for the issue of the price because she would happily pay for it herself it was more that she didn't want to make him uncomfortable if she had alcohol. "It's a really weird relationship." Jamie admitted and faked a horrified shudder at the thought. He thought for a moment before proceeding to fill her in on the rest of the gossip from the past few years that she had missed out on.

Issy giggled a little at his moan when she kissed his neck, she had kissed his moan, his touch, his lips, everything. When she pulled back she was a bit reluctant but she wanted to show him, she held his hand, she showed him around the lower floor, showing him the lounge room, kitchen and dining room the the small washroom, she then headed up the stairs to where her main bedroom, the spare bedroom and ensuit and bathroom was. She finished off in her room, looking at him when she sat on her bed. "So that's my apartment." she said
