"Okay. If they're okay with it we could stay over. Spend some time with them." Daniella suggested softly. She liked being with his parents, a lot more than she had ever liked being with her own family. Jamie nodded. "Let's go to bed then." He said to her. He kissed her cheek again and then let her go so that they could leave the room.
He nodded to her "of course, ill ask but theyll say yes either way, they love you." He said happilyShe smiked with a nod then turned the light off after looking at their daughter again for a moment. She walked to their room omce she shut the door
Daniella smiled widely at that. "It's because I'm so amazing." She joked and then got out the car once he parked in their driveway. Jamie walked to their room and quickly got ready for bed. He lay down on his stomach on his side of their bed and groaned quietly, both from fatigue and pain.
He laughed a little as he parked then got out also, he looked at her again with anothee smile "yeah thats exactlt why" he joked also and got out some bags.Issy watched him as she walked through also, she closed the door then got changed and climbed into bed beside him, she gently kissed his cheek and rested
"Of course." Daniella giggled and unlocked the front door. She opened it for Zayne and then went back to the car to get some more bags. Jamie looked at Issy. "I think I did too much." He whispered while trying to hide the look of pain on his face.
He smiled and thanked her as he chuckled a little, heading inside to drop the bags off then going back to get moreShe looked at him confused "what do you mean?" She asked also concerned as she sat up
Daniella did the same and got the last of the bags from the car. She walked into the kitchen and started to put away all that they had bought. "You know how the doctor told me to rest and take it easy?" Jamie said as he closed his eyes. "I shoulda listened instead of been stubborn." He told her. He knew it wasn't fair to worry her but she was his wife, his best friend, she was who he could talk to about anything and he hated keeping things to himself.
Zayne walked back through with her, he began to unpack and put away the shopping they had bought.Issy knew he was pushing it too much but she knew she couldnt say anything about it or he would fet mad. She moved closer to him, gently placing her hand on his shoulder. "Try relax." She said, she was going to use her abilities and try to take away some of his pain. "Tomorrow please rest, no getting out from bed."
Once they were done Daniella looked over at Zayne. "I'm gonna make some hot chocolate." She told him. "Want one?" She asked as she started to get out what she needed. "I don't wanna leave you to do everything yourself though." Jamie said and opened his eyes again to look up at her. "It's not fair. You're supposed to be resting too." He reminded her quietly.
He nodded when he looked at her again. "Yeah please." He said and smiledShe looked st him again' "jamie im fine, i can take csre of the kids a little longer, you have to regain youre strength back and rest." She said then kissed his cheek "let me go this please."
Daniella nodded. "Okay." She said and then made them both a mug of hot chocolate. "What time is it?" She asked once she had finished and was handing him his mug. Jamie hesitated but then nodded. "Okay. I'll stay in bed and rest tomorrow." He promised and reached over to take her hand.
Zayne looked at her when he finished what he was doing, he then looked at the time "around 6:30.. why?"She smiled finally happy he agreed then began to take away his pain
"Just wondering." Daniella told him and smiled. She grabbed a chocolate bar to snack on and then walked through to the living room to relax on the couch. "Is that you?" Jamie asked as he let out a sigh of relief as his pain began to fade. He closed his eyes and relaxed.
He nodded softlt, following her through and taking a seat onto the couch. "How about we just sit here."Issy smiked a little as she watched gis pain slowly go away. "Yes". She said
Daniella smiled at Zayne. "Remember to call your parents before it gets too late." She told him as she put her feet into his lap. Jamie smiled. "I love you." He told her as the look of agony fell from his face. What she was doing worked better than any pain meds the doctors could give him.
Zayne nodded and grabbed his phone "ill call them now" he said and dialled the numberShe smiked as she watched gim then had to stop, feeling a bit weak, "that enough for tonight" she said
"Good idea." Daniella said and smiled at him. She still found it hard to believe that she had actually married him. Sometimes it felt like only yesterday that she had seen him in the reception at work and showed him where to go for his first day. Jamie smiled. "Thank you baby. You shouldn't really be doing that though." He pointed out softly because he knew how using her powers tired her out.
He waited for hus parents to pick up the phone, kistening to it ring agaij and again before he heard his mum "hey mum its Zayne.... yeah were good.... yes shes good...... we were wondering if we coukd come visit you guys this weekend, and possibly stay the njgnt?" He talked with herShe nodded slightky "i know but i have to help you" she said "now i can rest too"
Daniella smiled as Zayne spoke to him mum on the phone. She opened her chocolate and ate it, satisfying her craving for chocolate. Jamie smiled at Issy. "You're the best wife ever." He told her softly. "Now get some sleep before one of our babies wake up." He said playfully.
He grinned as his mum agreed it woukd be fine and lovely to see them so he arranged ut, shortly after hanging up. "All good"She dsmiled with a nod, closing her eyes and falling asleep straight away
Daniella smiled. "Great." She said to him softly. "How do you think they'll take the news?" She asked and bit her lip. Jamie relaxed and then slowly drifted off to sleep. He was exhausted and he was snoring within minutes.
He smiled as he thought about it, watching her "probably be excited." He said "honestly"She was fast asleep also before him
"As long as it's positive that's all I care about." Daniella admitted. She knew if she somehow told her parents they probably wouldn't be happy. Even as a fallen they wouldn't have wanted her to even marry a human let alone have a child with one. "I can't wait until this weekend." She said softly and smiled at Zayne. Jamie woke up the next morning and stumbled to the bathroom. His entire body ached with every step and he didn't waste time in getting back to bed to lie down again.
Zayne smiled as he looked at his wife again "neitber can i' he said with a grin "its goinf ro be good"Issy woke when he stumbkdd back in "are you ok?" She asked
Daniella smiled and then moved on the couch to curl into his side. She leaned against him and put her arm around his tummy, holding on to him. "Ah huh." Jamie mumbled as he lay back down on his front. He didn't want to worry Issy because he was obviously in a lot of pain. He didn't want her to weaken herself by trying to make it better when she had the whole day go get through without his help.
Zayne looked at her again, smiling some more "comfy babe?" Issy nodded but of course she didnt believe him, she woukdnt. She laid back also, just taking the time to rest while the kids still soept
Daniella smiled up at Zayne. "Yeah. I am." She told him with a small giggle. "Everything hurts." Jamie told her quietly, unable to not tell her the truth.
Zayne smiled with a small laugh himself "glad you are." He said like he wasntShe looked at him again. "Can i get you something? What about the tea that helps to heal?" She asked
"Are you comfy babe?" Daniella asked and smiled up at Zayne. "Can you get me my pain meds and a glass of water please?" Jamie asked, giving in to the aches in his body.
Zayne chuckled "not really" he said She nkdded as she got up, being quiet and going to the kotchen, she made the cup of tea and got him his meds and water also then returned
"Oh." Daniella frowned and then sat up so that she wasn't leaning on him. Jamie had pushed himself up so that he was sitting by the time Issy came back. "Thank you baby." He said as he took the water and medicine from her.
Zayne watched her some more, he thanked her for getting up then got up alwo and got comfy himselfShe nodded and climbed back into bed, relaxing, she looked at gim again. "Have the tea too." She said
Daniella sat and watched Zayne. "Can I cuddle now?" She asked once he was done moving around. Jamie nodded and swallowed his pills. He moved the pillows behind him to try make sitting more comfortable before picking up the tea.
Zayne looked at her when he was finished getting comfy then he nodded "yeah, come on" he saidIssy helped him a little before she sat beside him, watching and restinf. "I cant bekoeve they sent you" she said still shocked
Daniella instantly moved so she was snuggled up close to him, hugging him as she relaxed again. "It's my job baby." Jamie reminded her softly as she starting to drink the tea. He did his best to hide his pain, not wanting to worry her too much.
Zayne smiked and put hus arms around her, kissing her bead gently, "will you tell issy?" He askedShe sighed "i know it is... ifs just not fair, you get hurt." She said
"I can't." Daniella whispered. "I know she would never willingly tell anyone but I can't risk it. They could go to her and hurt her family to get her to tell. They could hurt her. I can't do that to her." She hated herself for this but she didn't have any other choice. Jamie sighed. "At least I'm alive." He reminded her quietly, thinking about the teammate he had lost because of the demon.
He nodded slightly as he understood, he looked at her again. "Have you spoken to her?" He askedIssy looked down a little, olaying with her hands "im sorry" she sais
Daniella shook her head. "Not in a while. Last I heard she was pissed about Jamie having to go away for work when she could have her baby any day. So I'm guessing she's had her baby by now." She murmured and then leaned her head against his chest. Jamie reached over and took Issy's hand in his. "It's just a thing we're going to have to work through baby." He said quietly and looked over at her.
"Do you think you should maybe try calling her? See if she has?" He asked, he didnt want her to loose contzct with her best friend, that wasnt fair on either of them. She looked at him again, still upset a little "i know but its just so hard... no one should have to go throught that, seeing youre teammate be killed and yourself getting injured while you worry about me too... jamie i really dont like you going out there." She said
Daniella shrugged. "I don't know how I can talk to her without telling her about the fact we're gonna have our own baby." She admitted quietly, looking down at her hands in shame. Jamie bit his lip. He loved his job but he really didn't want to end up arguing about this with Issy. "Well I won't be back at work for a while so you don't have to worry." He reassured her and gave her hand a squeeze.
He nodded a little as he watched her, kissing her head softly. "I guess it is hard.. but i really think you should try talking to her." He saidShe smiled with a slight nod, resting againdt her pillows beside him. "Im sorry."
"I'll call her at some point." Daniella told him and sighed. It was in times like these that she really missed Issy. She had other friends but none of them were like Issy, none of them meant as much to her as Issy did.Jamie looked at Issy. "What are you sorry for?" He asked her with a small frown as he put down his empty tea cup.
Zayne looked at her again with a nod, concerned "ok.. but promise me you will?" He saidShe looked away, shrugging softly. "Iv judt been making things tough for you, even before you went away and now me complaining isnt doing any better or good." She said
Daniella nodded. "I'll not bother tonight. It's too late to call her now." She said, knowing that she sounded like she was just making up excuses."Hey, don't be daft baby." Jamie said and gave her hand another squeeze because that was the best he could do at that point. "Things are just a bit rubbish right now. We'll work through them. You're allowed to complain about it though."
He nodded slightly accepting that because it was pretty late. Even though he didnt know what time it was where issy was atShe looked at him again. "But i shoukdnt be complaining everyday" she said "im just worried youll leave me too" she said "which i know is stupid."
Daniella sighed and held tightly to Zayne as she tried to relax again. She would only get emotional if she kept thinking of Issy and she was fed up of crying all the time. Jamie looked at Issy. "Baby I'm never going to leave you okay?" He told her firmly but with a soft tone to his voice. "You are everything to me and if you want to complain every day then that's fine. I'd rather you complaining than you bottling it up and that causing problems later on." He squeezed her hand, wishing he had the strength to pull her into his arms.
Zayne hugged her back again, kissing her head gently. "You hungry?"She smiled sofftly as she nodded and looked at him again happily, kissing his cheek when she leaned over. "How did i ever end up with you? Youre so perfect" she said
Daniella turned to look at Zayne and nodded. "Yeah I am." She admitted, only realising it once he had asked. Jamie just smiled at that. "Just relax baby okay? Things are gonna get better again soon." He promised her.
She nodded happily "of course there will be" she nodded again "yeah of course i am... im always tired" she said to him
