*Terrance sat at the Ravenclaw table, eating a giant pork chop drowned in apple sauce.*
Mera had her nose in a book. She was sitting at the Gryffindor table like always. She wasn't in the mood to eat. She'd rather read.
*He wiped his mouth and took a hearty swig from his flask of butterbeer. He burped loudly* "'Excuse me..." *He muttered, looking over at the others at his table.*
Mera glanced up at the Ravenclaw table and sighed. Sometimes she was glad she was a Gryffindor, like now, other times she wasn't. Though she did like to have fun and Gryffindor was sometimes considered the party house.
*He glanced over at Mera and blushed, seeing the beautiful Gryfifindor who was looking over at him. He waved before looking down sheepishly.*
Mera smiled before returning to her book. It was a good thrilling fantasy. Nothing better than a good book. Except maybe a party
*He whispered over to one of his close friends and they chuckled at him. He looked down, his eyes shut. It was pretty obvious Terrance was an outcast*
Mera stood up, closing her book. She was ready to leave. These people were boring her. She was in a flirting mood though.
*Terrance soon finished his meal, and like... well... magic, his plate disappeared. He stood up, his dark skin contrasting beautifully with his blue-and-black uniform. He walked past the other tables, heading over to the stairwell leading up to the Ravenclaw common room*
Mera was just wandering around. She didn't really have any where she was going. She hoped she'd run into someone cute.
*He looked over and saw Mera walking around. He walked over and smiled* "You need help carrying those books?" *He asked* "Oh [insert book name]? I loved that! [Inset author name] has a way with words. She's amazing, isn't she? Thrillers set in the Troll Revelation are amazing... Sorry, I'm raving again..." *He looked down and tapped his foot nervously*
"Its fine," Astra said smiling. "I think i've got everything though. yes, she's quite good. I do like her books,"
"Oh. Ok! Wait you're named... uhh... Mera, right? I'm Terrance" *He smiled*
"Mera would be correct, Terrance," Mera said smiling. "I've seen you around,"
"Heh, yeah. I just love this place. When you just wander around, you'll find all sorts of things. It's crazy." *He rambled nervously*
"There's lots of cool things around this castle," Mera said. She twirled a lock of her hair around her finger.
*He laughed* "Have you found the passageway that leads out into the Forbidden Forest? It's pretty scary. I wouldn't go there... unless you're looking for a adventure" *He smiled impishly, his awkward expression shifting into a playful mask*
Mera's face lit up. "I love adventures!" She said excitedly.
"It's over on the east wing. You need to find the stature of Marshall the Mad and tap his left eye three times. It'll turn into a door... Ah, whatever. Let's just go together." *He smiled*
"That would be great. I would go into the forbidden forest, but never alone of course," Mera said
"The last time I was there I think I saw a unicorn foal." *He chuckled* "Of course it ran away. Us guys freak them out."
"That's why you let girls handle unicorns," Mera pointed out smirking.
*He laughed* "We should head out after everyone's asleep. If Fitch finds us.... Well...." *He looked a little self-conscious* "Let's just say... I'm a fast talker."
"Filch wouldn't catch us. Gryffindors never get caught," Mera said smiling slyly.
((Oops Filch! Sorry!)"Us Ravenclaws have a bit of a goody-good reputation. It's pretty bloody far from the truth." *He deadpanned*
"I know, but it doesn't hurt to be a little bad sometimes. Not that i'm saying us Gryffindors are. We just like fun," Mera said.
"Oh. In Ravenclaw... well..." *He groaned before continuing* "Our idea of a party is drinking a butterbeer with their sweethearts."
"That sounds lovely," Mera said. Her eyes sparkled. She was totally flirting with him.
"Great! See you at eight?" *He smiled and started to walk away*
"I'll see you at eight. What should I wear?' Mera asked before he could get too far.
"Something you can get dirty. It's going to be a long night" *He looked down at his robe* "I'll probably just find some jeans I packed for things like this"
"I know exactly what to wear then. See you then!" Mera said cheerfully before going to the Gryffindor common room
