@Juel I'm not sure if that is the book although it does sound similar to it. I was going to check it out at my local library and read it to confirm if it was the book but they didn't have it.
@bookel I looked through those titles and covers, none of them look familiar. I'm sure it was YA fiction.

On the cover its a boy with shaggy brown hair holding a teddy bear, he's inside of a van, he's looking out of the back window as the van drives away in the dark with a frightened look on his face. I've searched/googled the titles "Dont talk to strangers, Never talk to strangers and Do not get in the car with strangers" but came up empty handed. In the book the boy is about 7 or 8, a couple kidnaps him and takes him into the woods to live in a trailer. The husband leaves everyday but the wife stays with the little boy. I remember either the husband kills the wife or kidnaps another girl and kills her. That's all the details I can remember.
