*Sorry I'm late! I'm dog/house sitting and the puppy has got me goin' every which way. Not to mention the commute into town. Eeeep!
I'm starting this week with Lucky Man by Garrett Leigh.

I'm in research mode this week, and thus most of my reading will be nonfiction. However, one of my assigned articles for this project is the romance novel. That will be fun. :)
I've read most of the books on my list of tomorrow's releases in ARCs already, but I do hope to find a few hours to read Jo Beverley's The Viscount Needs a Wife.

I’ve been reading The Rock Kiss series from Nalini Singh. Kind of read it out of order and read reviews beforehand to make sure it was something I might like. I really liked ROCK HARD (2). ROCK COURTSHIP (1.5) would have been my second choice with ROCK ADDICTION (1) coming in third. There were a lot of mixed reviews on the latest, ROCK REDEMPTION (3). The biggest complaint was that they felt the hero cheated on the heroine (which I’d like to add – I don’t believe he did, but that’s just my opinion) which was a #1 rule breaker for a lot of people. I decided to forego reading it thinking that it would just be a wallbanger for me. I caved this weekend and had to find out how Noah and Kit got together. I am sooooo glad I did. It is tied for my favorite of the series. I loved it. Every path Nalini took Noah and Kit on to their HEA made perfect sense to me, as did all their actions and feelings. I saw Kit as a strong heroine not willing to settle for less than she deserved but still wanting to help the man she loved. I saw Noah as a tortured man trying to deal with his demons the best way he could while protecting those he loved. If anyone is on the fence with this one my advice would be read it and decide for yourself.

Irish, I know exactly how you feel! Sometimes you just have to read the book for yourself to find out if you'll like it. I've avoided certain books in the past because the way reviews painted certain aspects of the plot made it sound like id hate it. Then when I read it I'm like "This is what they were mad about?" Everyone has a different hot button I guess. Glad you enjoyed the books. I have two on my tbr but haven't bitten the bullet yet.
Thanks so much, Stacey, for the lovely review. What a great thing to wake up to! :)

I'm reading Once Upon a Marques by Courtney Milan
And I've just heard that Elizabeth Hoyt's Sweetest Scoundrel is on sale on Amazon for $2.99 so going to go buy that one too!

I now have to try and set aside some time to catch up on the first two in the series ;) ♥

Unfortunately I've found that most of the overseas sales don't come through to Australia :(

In my TBR pile I have Jennifer Haymore's Highland Awakening and Christi Caldwell's Tempted By a Lady's Smile.
Read JQs Because of Miss Bridgerton on Saturday and now I am in the mood to reread all of the Bridgerton novels...
So many books and not enough time to read them all!

I read Because of Miss Bridgerton on the weekend and I found it really weird that they never mentioned Billie's parents first names throughout the story. Maybe I missed it?
My question is a bit spoilery so I'll hide it (view spoiler)

Stacey, Billie is not Anthony and Kate's daughter. She is a Bridgerton of an earlier generation. Given that she would not bear the Bridgerton name after her marriage, I gather that she is (or will be) aunt to all the Bridgertons we know and love.

Thanks love. I know I should have done some research before starting it, but I didn't. Was it explained before the first chapter or was I supposed to know because of the dates? My memory is shocking but I might have missed it.

JQ explained it in her FB comments. I'm not sure about Avon's PR stuff. The only indication in the novel itself are the dates and the references to the American Revolution. The latter probably registered with less resonance for an Aussie. :)

There is also mention in the novel of Edmund, Billie's younger brother away at school. Edmund would be the father of the siblings in other Bridgerton series.

Right, Nicole. I had forgotten that the names of Billie's younger brothers are given.

I was away camping when I read it and it didn't have my full concentration. Having little to no internet access meant I couldn't check things easily.
I'm glad I asked the question now :-) ♥

I am also reading Kate Daniel's stories by Ilona Andrews and love those even more. I am ahead with Kate Daniels world, book 6

I completely agree with you Elena, this is the only group I follow religiously. No personal dramas...it's all about the books :D
I enjoyed Kate Daniel's stories too. Haven't read one for a while and I know I need to catch up.

OMG I LOVE KATE DANIELS! SHE IS MY FAVOURITE HEROINE EVER!!!!!!!!! (hence the caps that's how excited I am to find others who love her!!!)
I have re-read the series twice....I am counting down for the next book! x

You should Stacey! Even though they aren't my favorites I just love reading about all the different relationships - it's like visiting friends. I can't wait for Abe and Sarah's story!

Stacy Billie's name was Sybilla.

I know I just want to frame the cover! lol -- I'm a little behind and need to read the first book in the LOA series . . . does it benefit to read this series in order?

I haven't read the first two at all. Yes, it would have benefited me to know some of the characters mentioned but I was able to follow on well enough without having read them. The main characters from the two previous books pop up a bit :-) ♥

Thanks Stacey!

I am maybe half way into the book and of course Curran and Kate almost got into it. I really like that even though she is obviously in love with him and right now very angry at Curran she doesn't plays the victim. Kate is out there fighting evil and this one, apparently has something to do with her father. LOVE THIS SERIES!
