Ok, why, oh why, did Alex confess (in Ch. 7) to all that he did? I figure it was partly to get back at his droogs for abandoning him, but still... He had to know it was gonna get him in big trouble, right? Maybe it's the teenage thing, where they don't give much thought to consequences. He just wanted to make sure his droogs also got in trouble, I guess. Curious to see if they get arrested, too.
The judicial system is clearly corrupt so I don't think it mattered wether he conceded or not. I think he knew that which is why I felt like there was heavy sarcasm belying his confession.

I'm seeing that corruption as I've continued to read. :) And, turns out the others don't get sent to prison. Although the one does have something worse happen... :O

Lol, yea. Maybe its a teenager thing? I kinda remember something similar when I was reading Catcher in the Rye in school which I really didn't care for all too much.
