I couldn't come up with a title, but I was thinking about how something was created in one time period, but it was about another.

The Wedding Singer
Austin Powers
That 70's Show
Fashions that found their way back. Please no acid wash jeans. Well maybe if we can get something like this:

Jon Abbott Movies:
Wasn't The Graduate (60's) set in the 50's?
The Way We Were (70's) set in the 40's and 50's?
Songs:
The song Do You Remember These by The Statler Brothers was set in the 50's and produced in the 70's I think. Ditto The Class of 57 written in the 70's.

I didn't know The Graduate was set in the 50's. And I was just thinking of re-watching The Way We Were before I turned on the computer.

A TV show that I have enjoyed and want to re-watch one of these days is Life on Mars. I saw both the British version and U.S. versions, and enjoyed the British version better. The series is about a police officer who wakes up in the 70's, and he sees how things have changed. The U.S. version lasted one season and ended different than the British version. The British version also had a squeal to the series called Ashes to Ashes. In this series the police officer wakes up in the 80's. I think I enjoyed the squeal more. Did anyone watch these time travel TV shows?

Jon Abbott A teeny tiny part of why I like The Way We Were is ... I was in it.

Well, in the tiniest of bit part ways. Yon might remember a rowing scene on screen behind the opening credits. My college's rowing team was filmed and you can not really even see the back of me in the far distance, coxing the shell. So there, world! I was "in the movies."

For some reason i keep thinking of Love Stoey and that rowing scene. I don't remember where The Way We Were takes place. Also living in New Mexico you might have a chance to be in the movies again.
