The girls are being used by the Armylyn to find the Black Aja. Yeah, that seems smart.

Mat's been healed and has been approached by Lanfear under her Selene guise. I'm being she's who Min warned Perrin about in the last section. Getting our of there is a smart idea, but it looks like he's stuck for now.

If I recall correctly this is where his story starts becoming interesting.

I think Jordan using the girls to find the black aja shows us just how fragmented the forces of good are. Its crazy to think that out of all the aes sedai, accepted and novices the Armylyn only trust Moraine, Egwene and Nynaeve.

Mat seems to be the most susceptible to Lanfear's intrigues since he seems to hunger for glory the most. I think ultimately he doesn't trust anyone enough to fall for it but time will tell.

Egwene got a Ter'Angreal from Verin to help her enter the world of dreams easier but kept the notes on it from her. Does this point toward Verin being of the black aja or does she have plans of her own.

Egwene's accepted test also showed some possible black aja if that version of the future comes to pass. The test seems like it would break most people.

That's a good point about the girls. The Armyln is pretty desperate for allies.

I thought these chapters were somewhat boring maybe due to the fact that I find all these girls from Eamon's field to be idiots.

The important info I got from these chapters are

1. Angreal

This is use to channel more power than is possible by an normal Aes sedai.

2. TerAngreal

These are sort of objects which use the one power to do something.

3.Sa'Angreal

This is used to channel even more power than a Angreal.

Also Mat gets healed, and the way Amrylin talks to him man I hated her for that, I think the issue with Jordan's writing is that he makes all the women pompous, overconfident and tendency to underestimate others and this especially true if they are Aes sedai.

I always forget when one of them come up which is which. There are also some Ter'Angreal's that don't need any of the one power to work. Think Verin tells Egwene that about some of the Ter'Angreal that the black aja took.
