Diane L I got to page 70 of The Time Traveller's Guide to Medieval England: A Handbook for Visitors to the Fourteenth Century during my hour. I intend to keep going with it for another 60-90 minutes this evening.

I enjoyed this activity and will definitely sign up for time slots in future sprint relays.

Amy the book-bat (batkisses) | 914 comments Checking in for my scheduled hour. Just finished I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings and will be switching over to American Psycho as soon as I refill my tea glass.
So far today: 6 1/2 hours and 159 pages... more to come

Delitealex | 3990 comments Im here ready for my sprint Im reading Just This Once (Escape to New Zealand, #1) by Rosalind James

message 55: by Amy the book-bat (new)

Amy the book-bat (batkisses) | 914 comments During my scheduled hour I read pgs. 176-215. I'll probably read another hour or two before quitting for the night. That should put me in the 9-10 hour range.

message 57: by Jenn (new)

Jenn C | 51 comments Checking in for my third sprint (though I have been reading intermittently throughout the day, in between knitting a baby blanket for a girl at work who's expecting her third, and binge-watching Sherlock - the Jeremy Brett version).

I finished the book I started earlier (Cat Trick) and it was good, though the main character veered dangerously close to TSTL territory. I'm starting off this hour with the next book in the series (Final Catcall), a warm, comfy bed, and a cat snoring next to me ;)

Bobbi (schadenfreudian) | 463 comments I know I'm early, but checking in for my sprint at 2 AM. I will be reading Uglies which is a library book.

It's been a long day. So tired, heh.

message 59: by Jenn (new)

Jenn C | 51 comments I know what you mean ;) I'm going to be zonking out pretty soon...

message 60: by Bobbi (new)

Bobbi (schadenfreudian) | 463 comments Me too, just as soon as I finish this sprint. I'm chaperoning Chuck E Cheese tomorrow too. :)

Starting on pg. 144

message 61: by Jenn (new)

Jenn C | 51 comments Oh, that sounds like fun ;)

Read 166 pages. Sleep now. ;)

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments Okay I'm up, need to put some food and lots of coffee in me. My sprint will start in 20 minutes.

I'm on page 42 of Salt to the Sea by Ruta Sepetys , according to my ebook reading app.

message 63: by Bobbi (new)

Bobbi (schadenfreudian) | 463 comments Read 71 pages putting me on page 215. It is now time for bed. Happy reading!

message 64: by Karsyn (new)

Karsyn (imzadi) Well done so far, y'all. It's been great hearing what you've been doing!

Welcome Sonia, enjoy your book!!

I haven't kept track as well as I've wanted, but I believe I'm around 17.5 hours of reading, no less than 17 hours for sure. I've read 2 novels, 1 novella and 5 short stories for a total of 1,153 pages so far.

Getting back to it now. :D

❀Tea❀ (ttea) | 9626 comments In case I forget to stop by in half hour (too busy reading :p), I'm working my way through The Shelters of Stone. With current speed, I should be around pg 100 when it's my turn.

Happy reading everyone!

message 66: by Sonia (new)

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments Okay, first two hours of reading done, I managed to read 152 pages which puts me at page 194.

message 67: by Sonia (new)

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments Since I need something lighter, I'm going to teach Tonight for my next sprint. Nothing like a mm shortie to make war horrors disappear

message 68: by ❀Tea❀ (new)

❀Tea❀ (ttea) | 9626 comments My hour is done, but I'm not stopping :)
It went slower than I thought so I read about 40 pgs. In my defense epub is terrible. It looks like really bad scan so I spend more time trying to guess what word I'm supposed to read.
I think I'm going to stop by the shop later and check if they have updated/fixed version. This one is almost unreadable

Nikki the Sapphired Book Dragon AKA NixieNut (sapphireddragon) | 1397 comments Just checking in for the last hour. I am reading Hidden and have about 140 pages to the end of the book. I am doing 'recylcle' . I am determined to finish during my sprint :-)

message 70: by Sonia (new)

Sonia (darktalynn) | 11599 comments Finished tonight, it seems a bit short for 65 pages.

I was interrupted a few minutes early... My three year old niece decided it was time I stopped reading

It was fun

message 71: by Karsyn (new)

Karsyn (imzadi) Thanks y'all, for another good relay sprint!! Enjoyed reading with y'all, even if I didn't check in as much. It was nice to know others were reading along with me.

I read for about 21.5 of the 24 hours. YAY! Last time was only around 18 hours, so I read more like I wanted to. Finished up 4 novels, 1 novella and 5 short stories, plus started an 11th book and read 25% of it.

Now I need a nap! TTFN.

Nikki the Sapphired Book Dragon AKA NixieNut (sapphireddragon) | 1397 comments Managed 120 pages in that hour and my eyes were starting to close of their own accord. Was 20 pages short of finishing 3 books with in the 24 hour period and that was with spending the day with my four year old.

Now i am off to bed.

night all :-)
