Suggested break down of reading so that you can check in and let us know how you're going. The following breakdown is purely a suggestion and is therefore not set in stone.

Rather than putting dates for each section I've done it so that it takes into account that not everybody will necessarily have the book at the same time.

Week 1: 101.25 pages

Please note: The break down of pages stated above is only a guide. Different versions will have different set-ups so please be guided by your own edition. Also it is entirely up to you that if your edition has an introduction, abbreviations, notes and other such inclusions, whether you wish to read these as well.

This book will be read over a minimum of 2 months. As always, please let me know if you want it to be extended.

I highly recommend the audio. Sometimes you need help to get through it. This can be pretty entertaining!

Hi Cosmic! I somehow missed this thread. I started it a couple of weeks back and am halfway through it. I started using The New Bloomsday Book: A Guide Through Ulysses during chapter 3 :) and found it quite useful! The sites you mentioned are quite helpful too :)

What do you think so far?

Yep! It deserves all the praise it gets and is a far easier read than people make it to be

Yeah, I read the beginning and I was overwhelmed that it was way easier than I imagined. But I didn't have time to finish it.
