Yeah, I recently wrote a scene where one of my favorite characters died, since it was necessary to tell the story. I cried while editing it, it was so sad, lol.

Definitely! There's a train crash in my book which concludes in two character deaths and I couldn't stop the tears, I still get choked up when I read it over. I actually had to take a small break after I wrote it as well. I also got quite emotional when I was writing a funeral scene for the characters that died in the train crash, some readers have commented on how emotional it was which then gets me quite emotional all over again!

I got a bit choked up when writing a scene in my last book. I was wrapping up a mother-daughter story arc. The fact that I got a bit emotional while writing it actually surprised me.
