This is my favorite Picoult book. I've read several of her books and know to expect a twist, but even knowing.... I still did not see this one coming. I was devastated but had my tissues handy.

I read this book last winter and have never felt so much emotion and been so deeply affected after reading, also was touched being an animal lover. I have read most of her books but this one is by far her best to date, can't wait to read her next book "Small, great things" hoping that will be another winner.
