I need to get back to reading Terry Pratchett. Sourcery was the last one I finished too. Which is your favorite Discworld so far?
Hi Cassandra, it's got to be Mort! I just loved that book and I like the character Death. I working through them in numerical order.
I'm just waiting for my next 2 books to arrive. As I do like to read actual physical books and not use an e-reader. I have one and use it every now and then.
20/ How to Disappear Completely David Bowick
A nice easy read, basically a love story with complications. Not bad for an free e-read. 3 stars
23/ The Jolly Corner: A Picaresque NovelQuentin Canterel
3* - The text contains some good descriptive passages and had a so so story line. Not my taste in writing style but maybe for others.
25/ The 13 1/2 lives of Captain BluebearWalter Moers
Really enjoyed this book, highly recommend it.....5*
28/ Zoo 2James Patterson
5* - A great mini read. These books are such a great idea to continue on from the original novel.
30/ Dead (ish)Naomi Kramer
Its a funny quick read. This is a very short story, with other short stories that continue on. 5*
31/ Dead(ish) Omnibus: Books 1-5Naomi Kramer
These are very witty short stories! Well worth a read.
4*
32/ Counting SheepPaul Martin
5*
Really suprised that I enjoyed this book. It was very interesting and got me talking to colleges at work about the subjects covered. It totally opens your eyes to why sleep is important and how we in society today don't rate sleeping enough.
'Just about everything you could possibly wish to know about sleep, lack of sleep, dreams, sleepwalking, nightmares, snoring, napping and sudden death syndrome....marvellous.' SUNDAY TIMES
37/ WickedGregory Maguire
5*
As we have heard Dorothy's side of the story, it's now time to hear Elphaba's ' The Wicked Witch of the West'.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It has a few eye opening bits that hint on certain things at the Philosophy Club, then you need your imagination to complete the picture! Some may find it a little dark in places but that makes all the more a better story.
