I was trying for that one on NetGalley but I requested it way too late. Whoops! How do you like it?

Ack, I'm seeing Diane Gabaldon again on Saturday! 😝 I really need to read more than the 1st book. I hope she can sign my other 3 books. I have 2 signed already.

I loved Outlander. Couldn't get into Dragonfly in Amber so I watched the TV series instead so that I could move onto Voyager. I enjoyed Voyager a lot. And I'm liking Drums of Autumn, but I wouldn't consider it one of my favorites.

Rose (The_Calm_Reader) (roselittlebookowl75) | 1372 comments @Karen @Catherine, I so need to stop procrastinating and read Dragonfly In Amber. Maybe I will start it this week too along with Rainbirds! I loved Outlander; it did take me a month to finish reading it.

You are so lucky @Karen to get to see Diana Gabaldon again!!!! I SO wish someday that I can meet her!!!!

Fast paced, a lot of action. No hand holding in terms of what this new world is like. It’s pretty good. I am at 66%.

How do you like it so far? I just saw your post that you got in NetGalley.

But I did get into Lifel1k3 tonight and am hooked. I'm about 15% in, the lifelike just made an appearance and shit just hit the fan!!

Laura | 13 comments I never do this and I really should. I tend to always be listening to at least one audible book (long work commute), one kindle book on my kindle for fun, one kindle/hardback for a class, and one kindle book on my phone.
Audible: Crystal Storm (Falling Kingdoms, #5) by Morgan Rhodes (re-listen)
Fun Kindle on Kindle: Strange the Dreamer (Strange the Dreamer, #1) by Laini Taylor
Class Kindle: The Big Picture On the Origins of Life, Meaning, and the Universe Itself by Sean Carroll
Phone Kindle: American Jezebel The Uncommon Life of Anne Hutchinson, the Woman Who Defied the Puritans by Eve LaPlante

Rose (The_Calm_Reader) (roselittlebookowl75) | 1372 comments Almost at the halfway point of An Ember In The Ashes. This is torturing my soul, the Trials, The cruelness of the Commandant, poor Laia, so brave. It’s killing my heart but I can’t stop reading. Read half the book in two days. Hope my heart can take the rest.

I really enjoyed the audio version, which I get from my library online for free! I tried to read it but it didn't grab me. The audiobooks are well narrated.

I am almost finished with The Book of M by Peng Shepherd and it could be my favorite read of 2018. I had a rough week so I've been saving the last 60 pages for a weekend morning with a great cup of coffee. 😬

Also still reading Abaddon's Gate (The Expanse, #3) by James S.A. Corey and just started an eARC of Bring Me Back by B.A. Paris
