Fever is not as epic as I thought it would be. But I am enjoying it!

I didn't know that there was a whole series at first. The Giver is one of my favorite books! I also really enjoyed Gathering Blue and can't wait to finish the series.

Thanks David! I just finished Caraval and am surprised I enjoyed it as much as I did. It was insane! Now I'm hoping to keep with this reading momentum and start something else :)

Its been so long since I"ve been on here! I've had the worst reading slump.

Anywho, I did finish a few books the last few weeks.

4 stars I really enjoyed this little collection of stories.

4 stars, classic Sarah Dessen.

3 stars. Enjoyable enough characters and world, just a little boring at times and the writing wasn't the best. An okay read.

Yes. I think Pippi is my fave Astrid character. Its kind of fun my mom actually uses Pippi quotes in her curriculum books. (she writes social science books every now and then)

Sorry I haven't been on here in a long while. I've been in a complete slump and unable to finish reading a thing since finishing ACOMAF. I've also been struggling with some personal issues.

Happy to say, I finally found a series I'm interested in finishing! I'm reading Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix for the first time and have already read almost 100 pages today alone.

Well, I was liking but I only got to page 93 before I had to take it back to the library today :( I'll try it again another time I guess!

I THINK I'm going to try next. I loved the first one, so hopefully this one will be something that will grab me!

But I may change my mind :) Its really all over the place right now!

I am always jealous of those who get to discover any HP books for the first time - that was one of my favorites in the series the first time around (I changed my favorites

Sorry to hear that. Hope the personal issues aren't anything too dreadful and are resolved soon.

You can't go wrong with the Harry Potter books. I just finished a re-read of the entire series. I don't even remember how many times I've read them now.

I'm trying to finish my Goodreads challenge so that I can focus on reading Voyager (Outlander #3) since the new season is in September, so right now I'm reading The Watson's Go to Birmingham cause it's a quick read and then I think I'll re-read Maniac Magee.

I read the new Dean Koontz and really enjoyed it. He veered away from his normal supernatural, but I love his new protagonist.

It's pretty good so far, I'm maybe halfway done. Not as good as some of my favorites of his, but still enjoyable :)

I agree. It's a nice diversion from his norm. She is like a female Jack Reacher to me. Super competent and finds a way to foil her enemies even when the odds are stacked against her. A fun read!
