Editions separated, won't combine

The old version of one of my books separated from the new version...and it's at the top of my publication's list, which is causing confusion since it's not available anymore. I tried to combine them, but Goodreads won't allow me to, saying it has been disabled.

Can I get these combined again? They were together before, so I'm not sure why they were separated.

The combine function is still down for books with over 1000 shelvings so we can't fix this at the moment.
