What's so wrong about having Jane Austen films to stream? Whether it be a production company problem or sheer lack of popularity, I know there are Janeites out there who devour those movies like her books.

Netflix stinks. I never see anything I want to watch on Netflix. They took away North & South, too, I think.
I don't believe it is. I was just watching it a few minutes ago. Maybe it's scheduled to be taken down.
I saw that North and South is still available on Netflix. But I can only watch it so many times! Any suggestions for movies or series or adaptations along a similar genre that you would recommend? Thanks.
An excellent list can be found at Enchanted Serenity of Period Films. I didn't see any good ones on Netflix but Amazon has a few for free for Prime members.
