Elizabeth (Alaska) I have been adding a romance award, so Amazon thinks I read romance novels. I don't. But that doesn't mean I didn't get this email this morning.

99 cent romance novels

Nicole R (drnicoler) | 8088 comments Oh my gosh! I could easily read the vast majority of these! I need to pace myself or I will be calling in sick to work and school to sit in my comfy chair, drinking wine and reading trashy romance novels!

Elizabeth (Alaska) If covers with cowboy's naked chests is your forte, check out this award!

Nicole R (drnicoler) | 8088 comments I shamefully love those kinds of books. I feel like as a super-educated woman with keen love of politics, a very serious job, and someone who hates gender stereotypes that I should NOT read books like that....but they are my weakness.

And, hot cowboys are certainly the weakest point of my weakness....

Everyone should have an escape plan. ;-)

I am not a super-educated woman. Is that why I've drifted to reading more classics, to make up for what I gave up when young? The thing is, we can't know/understand why some people are attracted to blue eyes and others brown (or romances versus classics versus mysteries versus biographies). But I do know that if people forgo what they like, well, they are just shorting themselves the full enjoyment they could have.
