Hi I'm looking for a book I read about 5 years ago. I can't remember all the details exactly but it was based on a true story. Two sisters traveling across Germany I think to find safety, the older sister is always looking out for the younger sister who carries a teddy around with her. They don't go into the concentration camps just about their journey and who they meet along the way. I think they met a German soldier on the way who was very kind to them, also a bike at some point is the story. The older sister does get raped in the story to help protect the younger sister. They get their safely and in the back of the book it has a little update about the sisters now. It was a long time ago I read the book so am quite vague with a lot of things, hopefully someone can help!
