SOLVED. book where a boy goes to a manor in england and sees a bunch of ghosts [s]

I'm trying to find this book that I read in middle school. It's about a boy and his sister that go to their relative's castle-type manor or the summer. The story is set in England. It's a mystery, and the plot goes like this: the boy begins seeing a scary hag/ghost lady, then starts seeing ghosts (ancestors from the past). The ghosts show him how they died, and I think they give him a clue. The boy is supposed to figure out the truth about his relatives that currently own the manor. Eventually he finds out that his little cousin was murdered and thrown into the pond. One of the themes throughout the book is something to do with like ancient druid religions and the summer solstice and stuff. It's got a great twist, and it's a fun read. Please help me.

It was 2010 I believe. The book didn't seem too old, maybe a decade or two. So probably around the 90s
