Hey all! Was invited by Aaron to join the group. Name's Amber, I'm 26 and hail from TN, USA. I am a reader/book reviewer who loves to do book reviews on goodreads and take read for review requests for authors too. I also love to write and have written some stories on goodreads which includes my weekly web serials The AbyssFantastical a YA Horror Fantasy serial and the sequel currently in progress called Dark Descent. If you guys want to check it out, I'll be happy to link you to the first one and hope you enjoy it. Just let me know here. The villain of the first one was inspired by one of my fave actors/inspiration to me as a writer, Robert Englund. Anyway, fave author is Sherrilyn Kenyon, other fave actor is Matthew Broderick besides Robert Englund. Fave color is ocean blue, am a Stephen king fan too as his YA novel The Eyes of the Dragon got me into his books which is a fave book I enjoy of his besides the stand and cycle of the werewolf. I'm also a Christian and love to watch movies, anime, fave shows are big bang theory and once upon a time. nice to meet ya'll. :)

I've been an avid reader for most of my life, and I'll read almost any genre. My favorites are probably fantasy, YA, classics, and poetry, though.

Oh oops! Totally forgot to introduce myself before posting my topic. ^_^ hey all! I'm Lara, just your average, everyday bookworm. Some of my favorites include Alice in Wonderland (and most spin-off's), anything written by Tolkien (yes, including the Silmarillion, lol), Harry Potter, Hunger Games series, A Song of Ice and Fire, and Fahrenheit 451. I'm really excited to join the fun here! Most of the people I'm surrounded by either don't read or have completely different tastes in books than me, so it'll be nice to find people that I can talk to about them. =p

Yes it is. =) I can't tell you how many times I wanted to gush about things while I was reading the Hunger Games series recently. Lol.

No problem Kat. I'm never read any time travel romance before. A Song of Ice and Fire Series by George R. R. Martin is supposed to be a pretty popular fantasy series. I have the first three books to read when I get the time.

Hi, my name is Cameron and I live in Washington DC but spend a lot of time these days in Africa and the Middle East for work. I'm mostly interested in Middle Eastern historical fiction. I thought I'd share one of my favorites-- an older book about the life of the famous medieval Persian poet Omar Khayyam but with plenty of political intrigue as well. Some will find it interesting, particularly in light of what is going on these days in Iraq and Syria. I will post a link to it in the appropriate folder.Look forward to participating in the group.
HI, my name is Marybeth and i have just graduated high school and i start college in August. I love to read just about anything but i prefer YA romance and fantasy. I have been in this YA romance phase and i don't even like romance that much but it is all i am wanting to lately. I also like to hike, play video games, hang out with my friends and family, and hang out on the computer a lot.

I have 4 grown up beautiful sons and a fiancée.My youngest son who is 17,has his own band and is getting quite well known here in England,we hope he'll be famous one day.,the band base themselves on 'kings of Leon' but they do various and play in other bands.
