Oh, sorry. I ended up giving mine two.
For Mothers Day I got flowers and a Kindle from my 2 and a half year son (technically the Kindle was from my partner lol).
He doesn't understand yet what Mother's Day is, but I still made sure I got the hugs and kisses lol.

@Catherine: Awe! That's sweet. My mom actually made some of those vases you see at stores with the candy sticking out of them for my Grandma, Mamaw, and Nanny. They turned out pretty well. And everyone bought cards for me and my brother so everyone got two-three cards from us.

I used to have an old account about two years, but since I went into high school I got really really distracted with school work and all that jazz. So basically a few days ago I decided I would love to join Goodreads again since I'm winding down with school and I have more time on my hands:)

Hi everyone. My name is Bianca, i'm 26 and i'm from the Netherlands. Since I was about 12 years old I found that reading books in Dutch just didn't cut it for me (I read really fast and a lot is mistranslated in books, losing the pun or the moment) so I started reading English and haven't stopped. I am completely addicted to books, I have even created a little library in my modest appartment. I love Young Adults,Classics and fiction in general. I have recently graduated from University and am proud to call myself an Egyptologist (and yes i'm still looking for work).

Welcome Bianca. I'm very jealous your an Egyptologist. I've always wanted to be one since I was little. I have an obsession with Ancient Egypt, I've even went on my first overseas trip to Egypt and stayed for 4 weeks lol. Congratulations.

Catherine; thank you! I'm very lucky to have had the opportunity to study Egyptology. Where in Egypt did you go? I lived there for 2.5 months, part of getting my Masters Degree. What do you do in "normal" life?
@Biance I went everywhere lol. I did two cruise rides on the Nile, and saw as much as possible. The people were soooo much nicer the more south I went. I was even sold for a lot of camels, a car and a shop lol. People were completely nice as well. And I'm a stay at home mum at the moment. When I go back to work I'll probably work in a book store lol.
Hello everyone! I'm Jessica and I'm 23 years old from NYC. I joined because I liked the idea of a sanctuary for book lovers. I love all types of genres and it's hard to choose so honestly it's whatever mood I'm feeling when I'm reading a book. I'm a future librarian and this is probably my second account on goodreads. I'm sure I could find my old one and just use that one but I ended up just creating a brand new one since I haven't been on for years. It's lovely to meet everyone!
