just finished by third pick, Down London Road, and it was a 5-starrer for me; yet another awesome pick :) Thank you!

Danielle Gypsy Soul (afdaniellet) | 1083 comments Aminko

I finished Exclusively Yours (Kowalski Family, #1) by Shannon Stacey and really enjoyed it. I gave it 4 stars and it was just what I needed after a reading a book with a TON of drama/angst! Planning on getting to The Deal (Off-Campus, #1) by Elle Kennedy this month as well.

Read my 3rd pick The Beast (Black Dagger Brotherhood, #14) by J.R. Ward -it was so good! Ward does not disappoint!

On to #4!

Hi Fran,
Here is your list :D"

Hi Vandhana!

I have read 2 of your picks so far- Jimmy (Red, Hot & Blue, #3) by Cat Johnson and Rebound (Tryst Island, #1) by Sabrina York . Both were good :)

I read another one of your picks at the end of March, because it was also chosen for me for the March PIFM. So it technically doesn't count for April, but I wanted to let you know I read it and really enjoyed it :) Just Desserts (Tales of the Curious Cookbook) by Mary Calmes

I would still like to fit in Still Life with Strings this month if I can.

Thanks so much for the great recommendations!

Pleasure Unbound (Demonica #1) by Larissa Ione Pleasure Unbound did not disappoint its dark and complicated but ultimately a love story and I really enjoyed it.
To be honest I cant remember much about Desire Unchained (Demonica #2) by Larissa Ione I gave it 3 stars so I thought it was an average read.
Passion Unleashed (Demonica #3) by Larissa Ione The characters were imaginative, the storyline really creative and I found I was able to picture all aspects. I loved Serena’s strength and the fact that she was badass and not some victim cosseted and hidden because of the charm and pendant.

message 161: by Aminko (new)

Aminko | 653 comments Hi Elke,

I just finished Some Girls Bite (Chicagoland Vampires, #1) by Chloe Neill and loved it. Thank you so much for giving me a little push to read it. I'm a couple of chapters into Confessions of an Alli Cat (The Cougar Chronicles, #1) by Courtney Cole . The guy sitting on the plane next to me was giving me funny looks after the first couple of times I laughed out loud. Might have to finish this one in the privacy of my own home where I can't get locked up for looking like a lunatic :-)

Nancy H | 1111 comments Hi Pam,
I just finished my third pick, Sunset Bridge Sunset Bridge (Happiness Key Series, #3) by Emilie Richards , and I LOVED it! In fact, I stayed up until the wee, wee hours of the night/morning because I just couldn't go to sleep until I knew what happened. Even though I didn't read either of the first two in this series, that was not a problem at all and I got hooked on this book as soon as I started reading it. And then with all that was happening in the last 100 pages, I just could not put it down.

Thank you so much for the nudge to get to this one. It was definitely an excellent read!

Nancy H | 1111 comments Hi Pam,
I just finished my #4 pick, one from the Diva series: The Diva Takes the Cake The Diva Takes the Cake (A Domestic Diva Mystery, #2) by Krista Davis . This is quite a good series, and I like the romantic tension between Sophie and the cop Wolf and her ex-husband Mars. It will be interesting to see what develops here as the series progresses.

Thank you for the recommendation. I like this series and had forgotten just how good these books are.

Using the next in series rule, I just finished the audio of Nice Girls Don't Bite Their Neighbors (Jane Jameson, #4) by Molly Harper . I really enjoy listening to Molly Harper books because I like the narrator. The number of people who want to kill Jane is getting ridiculous though.

message 172: by MountainKat, Moderator (new)

This was my introduction to Laura Kaye and I really enjoyed her Hard Ink series too! Looking forward to her new series soon. =)

~KarenH~ | 11348 comments Hey Leigh!

I've made a dent in the books you recommended...I've read 4 so far and enjoyed them all:

Rocky Ride 4/4/16
How to Walk Like a Man 4/10/16
Cupid Has a Heart-On 4/11/16
The Secrets of Sir Richard Kenworthy 4/16/16

How to Walk Like a Man and Cupid Has a Heart-On were my favorites of those four, both so cute! I also plan on reading (or actually listening to) Sustained, but depending on how it fits in other challenges I might have to hold it until next month. I'm going to try to get to at least one of your new picks too, but not sure which one yet - I haven't really checked them out yet, and need to see if I can pick any of them up from the library.

Thanks for the great picks!

Kaity | 492 comments Laurla, finished up two more! I hope to get to one or two more before April is over.

Feral Sins - Thank you so much for this rec! I loved this :D Perfect amount of yumminess and story and both were A+.

Off Sides - I enjoyed this one a lot! It came off as a little too 'teenage girl's fantasy' at times but was still a fun, super sweet read.

Wow, 7 finished already!
I'm also not a fan of the cover for Angels' Blood. The covers for the rest of the series look a lot nicer and suit the series better I think.
Feed wasn't at all what I expected either, glad you enjoyed it!
:D So glad there was a real winner for you with Rule! I feel like sometimes authors try too hard to use unique names that they end up ruining the book with something silly. I didn't think 'Rule' was too bad. At least it wasn't spelled oddly :P

Nancy H | 1111 comments Hi Pam,
I just finished pick #5 and it was very funny: Bobbie Faye's (kinda, sorta, not exactly) Family Jewels Bobbie Faye's (kinda, sorta, not exactly) Family Jewels (Bobbie Faye, #2) by Toni McGee Causey . It has been on my shelf for quite a while, so thanks for the nudge to read it. I especially liked the romantic tension between Bobbi Faye and the two men who are vying for her affections.

I am hoping to finish one more by month's end. Thank you for such good picks. For me to read this many in a month is a great thing and a tribute to your picking skills!

I have finished three of my picks and liked them all.

Tempting the Best Man (Gamble Brothers, #1) by J. Lynn Hunting Ground (Alpha & Omega, #2) by Patricia Briggs Play (Stage Dive, #2) by Kylie Scott

All of them are from my preferred shelf. I was also hoping to read Once Bitten, Twice Shy and maybe The Rosie Project but things go crazy and I'm lacking in time. They are both on my tbr list now.

I finished my 6th pick, Almost Home Almost Home (Chesapeake Diaries #3) by Mariah Stewart and it was great. I hadn't read this series before as far as I know, and I really enjoyed it.

Thanks again for such great picks this month! I am thrilled that I got 6 of them read, and I am planning to continue reading even more, although I won't get them in by month's end.

Happy Reading to You!
