I wann read it again to, and I just got done with it for the second time!
I red it like two years ago so I kinda forgot everything :p so of course I had to go read it again :DDD and plus the fact is so cute and amazing.
I love it when Ian told her when she woke up that he held her aha XD
It was so cute!
I wonder if maybe the next book is going to about her, or the other soul she mets.
Oh I do too, thats why I want the book to be from her POV, you know?I like chapter 56 to, all tho i didn't realize what chapter it was till I looked at the book again, it shows how much Ian loves her :D

Whoa. I am truly impressed. And this is a really beautiful scene in the book. Nicely done! :)
Lol, I just got done with the book last night, for the second time and all this talk wants she to red it again XDAha, I wish she'd get us more info about the other books, you know?
Ronna wrote: "You guys had me all worked up. I'm reading chptr.56 right now!;D"
That's so funny. Last night I went and marked that chapter to re-read! SO Good! :)
Lol.I wish there was a freeaking way to email Stephine because there NO date for when the second book to the host will come out, no details but when I googled it, it ssaid she stated she was almost done with 'the soul'
UUUUUUUUUUUUUUrgh.
Makes me so mad.
I finished this book the other day and really liked it. It isn't as good as Twilight in my opinion but it is still a great story. I loved Wanda and Ian the most, the ending made me happy. I agree it was a little confusing in places but I found myself being pulled along with the story and actually caring about the characters (which is something I think Meyer always does well)I want some more books by Meyer now, I love her storytelling. I'm just reading Midnight Sun at the moment, I think its a shame that she may never finish it because it is really good.
I guess, but she could give us SOMETHING like a date or maybe even just tell us a lil bout it or just urghh there NOTING about it on her web.
hi!my mom tryed reading the book she said it was too complicated!my grandma read the book and she did not understand it!i read it and i love it and guess what?!!i'm only 11!
yeah!but how do i get it but my mom and grandma does'nt!
cool!"a mind like yours wide open you can create a whole other world."

read this lullaby first!!!! just saying! seriously!
ya just read it BEFORE you read just listen! becausre i di and then i read just listen and something rlly awesome like was tied in and ws like holy shit! so ya
lol ya when you read them you will tooootally understand! and then like mention it on this group or soemthing lol
I love Ian and Wanderer! They were made for each other. I never really liked Jared, although, he did redeem himself at the end by saving her. Going into the book, I thought that I would hate Wanderer for being an alien and helping to take over the planet, but that changed after about the first fifty pages! After about those first fifty pages, you just can't put it down! I think I might like this book better than the Twilight saga. If she does write more, they better be about Wanderer, because I love her character to pieces!
i didn't like Jared he frustrated me
I'amber wrote: "She neeeeds to come out with... something, like news or something!"Even a title for the next one would be nice.
I liked how Ian was so understanding of her, even when she didn't know herself how she felt. Although, he did side with the humans when she first showed up...
OMG i love Ian. Yeah, at first I thought he was a jerk for what he almost did to Wanda, but then as I saw their romance flourish I was like "awww!!!". Jared seems really bitter and mean, doesn't he? I didn't like him very much. I did like Melanie and her strong-willed spirit. It's good she didn't give up.
Jo wrote: "I kinda liked Jarod because i could understand how upset he would be after being alone for so long and then finding Mel and then losing her to the body snatchers but when he started to be nicer to ..."yeah that's why I didn't like him. He was basically just using Wanda, but Ian wasn't. He clearly really actually loved her.
Maria Isabella wrote: "Give it until chapter five... that's what I tell everyone... that's when I found the book addicting :)"I agree it took me awhile to crack the beginning was way weird but once passed that I was hooked loved it and my fav character was Ian
I found the beginning so boring that I dosed off in one of my classes trying to read it, I put reading it off until I finish all the books I am reading now. Then I found out it takes half the book for anything exciting to happen.

It does not take half the book. Sixty pages, tops. Then you're hooked.

Sixty still is too many boring pages for me. And I refuse to be hooked to a book, it feels degrading.
For me, that is the best part! It's like a drug for me; that feeling that you can't put a book down because you just get sucked in. It's awesome!
Kate wrote: "For me, that is the best part! It's like a drug for me; that feeling that you can't put a book down because you just get sucked in. It's awesome!"I know what you mean. I can go hours and hours; in some cases even days without putting the book down. Love that feeling.

Same here...A lot of people don't understand that feeling....sometimes I can't even fully comprehend it but I know that I love that feeling...:)

I did not care for this book, but i kept reading to the end. There were lots of mini climaxes in the book. I never felt that we made it to an ultimate climax. That was the main drawback. I did not like Jared either, but I did like Wanderer. That may be the reason I kept reading. She was such a good spirit.

Too true! The Host is amazing! I've also read it a second time and I'm thinking about reading it again in the fall. :)
