Did you like the ending of this series?

What is an ideal ending for a book series like this?
Please explain your theories.

Loved seeing how they all grew up and seeing sneak peek of what happened to people like Neville (should have become minister of magic after being herbology teacher, just saying) and Draco.

However, the brief introduction to the kids just made me confused because I didn't really know any of them.

Ideal ending: 19 Years Later + more information worked into what happened to the other characters AND LESS random names of children OR just more fleshing out of kids' characters.

I loved the ending but I wanted more. Like, from after the battle to when they were dropping the children off. Even though we've been given all the information I want all the in between stuff in story form!
