Penel Smith | 5 comments I just got a used Nook 1st generation online, for only the shipping charge of $10.00.
The posting of it said that the screen had a small crack, that didn't interfere with reading.
Unfortunately, a quarter of the reading screen is blank!
I got this because I couldn't afford an e-reader, so can't afford much to fix it. Is there anywhere to find a screen, or would B&N help me to get a replacement screen only?
Thanks!
Penel

Michelle (mgauffant) | 86 comments I think if the screen interferes with function, you're pretty much out of luck.

You might possibly be able to get a broken one on ebay and replace the screen. Look and see if you can find any info online about how to do this, first. I've seen it for Kindles.

thanks willaful! There is a video about how to repair Nooks, too.
