I've been thinking about how things work for you people, and I've decided that instead of offering you one of my stories to review [which I would be more than happy to provide], it seems like something that you might find more unique would be to collaborate on the creation of a new story.
I know this is a bit out of the ordinary, but let me tell you that I have made my living for the last two years as an Erotic Romance ghostwriter -- which means I write based on the prompts of clients, to create the books that many of you will read, assuming they belong to the authors who publish them.
Tragic, I know.
At any rate, I'd like to offer you the opportunity to come up with your own prompts. Your own story, which I will then compile and turn into a story for you and your friends to read.
Sounds great huh?
Well how can you respond to this message: [You can respond by pretending you are assigning me your ideal story.]
1) Genre: -- Generally speaking, I operate within Erotic Romance, but the sub-genres vary from client to client, so I'll leave that up to you. 2) Word Length: Usually my clients have me write 10k word stories, but you may prefer a longer story, or a shorter one, so again, that variable is up to you. 3) Characteristics of Male Protagonist 4) Characteristics of Female Protagonist Note: If you all swing toward the LGBT fence, I've got some experience with that as well, just let me know by listing multiple protagonists of the same gender. 5) Plot Devices: Got some Science Fiction, Paranormal, or Billionaire itch that just hasn't been scratched recently? Now's the time to speak your mind. 6) Steam Rating: Just how explicit are we talking here -- you know what I mean. Let's do it on a scale of X to XXX. 7) Environment: You like your stories set in major, modern, metropolitan areas, or do you prefer a Scottish countryside? Let's hear about it. 8) Because 8 is a magic number, How many sex scenes are we talking here.... 1, 3, a single continuous sex scene with little moments of plot interwoven? Only you know that answer.
I'm expecting nothing from this experiment, because I don't see anything like it on the boards, and I'm not certain that you [the reader] are accustomed to that much power.
Nevertheless, I'm interested in hearing what you have to say.
