[SOLVED] Book is missing ISBN

I was trying to add a book, but couldn't because there was a book with similar info in the goodreads.

So I created a new edition (The other one seems to be legit, but another edition).

The problem is that I can't add the ISBN number to my edition.

Reading the info (https://www.goodreads.com/help/show/8...), I arrived at the conclusion that I should put this info about the ISBN at someplace in the book record but I couldn't find it.

My question is, could someone merge the books or put the info at the right place please? Also, could you please explain to me what should (or shouldn't) I've done?

The book you added was already in GR. It was the same edition, just missing the cover. I moved the cover to that edition and deleted the one you added: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/1... (In future, please request here to update the existing edition instead of adding a new one, it saves work. Thanks :) )

Then I discovered it had been combined with a completely different book by Munir Cuny, did you add that as a new edition by mistake? I separated that book and combined it with an existing edition with a different ISBN: https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio...

I think the records for both books are correct now.

I made a mistake when I wrote my original post and put the wrong link in it. The second link was from a different book (the one from Munir Cury that you mentioned) I added new editions for booth books.

I also noticed that the edition from the Munir Cury's book is not with the bigger ISBN. I just checked my edition (12ª) and there are two ISBN. One is 85-392-0161-5 (that I registered in GR) but I just noticed another one: 978-85-392-0161-7.

Should I create a new thread to solve this?
