Dani | 15 comments There was a book series me a a few friends used to read in elementary school that was about how to be a spy. The one my friend kept checking out was I believe #3 or #4 of the series and had the "masks and disguises" in the title.

It had an illustration on the cover of each book that had a spy doing different things like searching for clues or gathering up things for a "spy kit."

Each book was a different color and was maybe about 90-100 pages long.

jennyreadit (goodreadscomjenne) What year would that have been? Do you recall if it was more like a guide or had fictitious
characters?

Dani | 15 comments Since it was already out when i was in 3rd grade (1992/1993) and the book was well worn by then so I'm guessing sometime around the 1980s. It was definitely more like a guide. Kind of like what you would see now in Make magazine but for spy stuff.

Tab (tabbrown) | 5084 comments I think someone else was searching for this book a couple of years ago. I will see if I can dig up that thread. It may also be your book.

Tab (tabbrown) | 5084 comments I think it is Usbourne's "Good Spy Guides" series.
Here is a link to the series on Librarything.

One of the books is called "Disguise and Make-up."
