The problem is that I have tried many times to delete two of the three editions as they are duplicates of the same one with no ISBN (it is a "club" edition). The system says that "in some minutes the edition will be erased" but it has not, never. So I have asked you to do it. There should be only one of them.

1) Another librarian has reverted your ISBN removal, ISBN on the one edition may be a shortened ISBN13, but being that one edition is listed as German and one as Persian, would make it so they do not get combined.

I removed the ISBN because it is invalid. Those books had been published by Jami Publication (جامی), in Persian language.

172/185/197 - Searching for 9647468490 (listed as German edition here) on worldcat brings up a Persian edition (link). Its corresponding ISBN13 is 9789647468497 which was added to the other edition in ISBN10 slot resulting in 9789647468.

I'm inclined to move the cover from 9789647468 to 9647468490 and merge the duplicate, while adding the ISBN13 and translator names and also correcting language from German to Persian.

Will wait till someone else double checks my findings.

Hossein, we suggest not to remove invalid data before requesting for merge as it helps us identify the edition as duplicate. Without 9789647468, we wouldn't have known if it was a duplicate edition or just another edition missing valid details :)

That's what I would do.
The reason in #185 for not merging being different languages seems not valid to me, as German is the original language of the book. The original language is regularly added (incorrectly) as edition language.

For the first link https://www.goodreads.com/work/editio..., the page count for one edition is almost doubled compared with the other. Not merged.

The other requests are done.

For https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/6... : kept the edition with the isbn, and updated it.

For next time, may I please ask you to either make separate posts for each request or number the requests when there are multiple requests in one post? It would make it easier to keep track which are done, and comment if necessary.
