I wonder if you can return your copy?

About half way through The Great Christmas Knit Off by Alexandra Brown I'm not a big fan of chick lit but I am enjoying this one. A light and easy read.
Andrea wrote: "Yesterday I started reading Little Fires Everywhere, keen to see what all the fuss is about. So far, so good."Really want to read this one.
Just finished reading The Trauma Cleaner: One Woman's Extraordinary Life in the Business of Death, Decay, and Disaster by Sarah Krasnostein.I devoured this book in just over a day, feeling very compelled to keep reading.
I am reading a couple of books (when I am not writing) Driven by K. Bromberg, the back end of Dragonfly in Amber by Diana Gabaldon and The Resurrection of Dylan McAthie by Nancee Cain
I've finally kicked life out of the way, finishing up a couple books that I started reading in November! Now I'm determined to sit on my tail feathers and get down to my ususl reading habits! So far so good as I started my Christmas present book
last night and am already halfway through! Now that's more like it!
The Travelling Cat Chronicles by Hiro Arikawa
It's very good!
I have just started a fantasy novel - Never Knew Another - by J.M. McDermott. It seems pretty bizarre so far.
This week I have been binging on Kate Atkinson's Jackson Brodie books that I bought recently from Booktopia. Have finished the first three and have just started the fourth and final one Started Early, Took My Dog today,

I picked up this book from the library just now.
I'm alternating between wrapping my present (Gemina) and putting it under the tree (History of Wolves)

It’s good Andrea. Not her usual genre but still good.

Enjoy Andrea :) It takes me back!

I'm currently reading The Three by Sarah Lotz and I'm nearly about 1/10th through it. It's an epistolary novel, which is the complete opposite of what I usually read. Funnily enough, this is my second attempt at reading it.
Since I accidentally left my book at home I've started one I packed for the trip.Summer Days, Summer Nights: Twelve Summer Romances edited by Stephanie Perkins
currently reading one of five books I received for Christmas The Whole Town's Talking by Fannie Flagg
After I finished When: The Scientific Secrets of Perfect Timing I put it in front of DH, who is not much of a reader. I'd made a few comments about it while I was reading it. Now he keeps reading bits out to me and telling me stuff from it, LOL.Meanwhile, I'm rereading Spook Street. I won it back in Jan and promptly read books 1. 2, 2.5 and have just finished 3. Rereading 4 in anticipation of 5 London Rules: Jackson Lamb Thriller 5 coming out in Feb. Enjoying it even more 2nd time around :)

I am reading three books at the moment: Portal Through Time by Alice Henderson, Dark Wolf by Kimber White and a really cool version of The Matchmaker's Playbook by Rachel Van Dyken that has videos and multimedia all through it, including a moving front cover. I've never seen anything like it, it's awesome!
Happy reading Sally! I've just started my first too -
Whistler's Bones: A Novel of the Australian Frontier by Greg Barron

Hey there history buffs. I'm currently reading a historical fiction book that involves the Australian assisted passage scheme.Any idea when it began?
The book has the program taking place in 1939 but historical on line sources list it as beginning post-war in 1945.
My first book of the year was Anatomy of a Scandal by Sarah Vaughan - really good.Currently enjoying Year One by Nora Roberts, my second book of the year :)
I've got that coming soon Carolyn :) I'm looking forward to it!
I'm enjoying I'll Keep You Safe at the moment (frustrated because I haven't been able to get back to it!) lol

Woohoo! Start of the New Year and start of my personal reading challenge for 2018 - which is to read as many of the chunky books on my own bookshelves.I'm beginning with The Chosen by Kristina Ohlsson - Scandinavian noir thriller which weighs in at a hefty 584 pages. Wish me luck!
Ace wrote: "I've started on Force of Nature as my first for 2018 but still reading books from 2017 as well!"I have just purchased this book Ace. It will be a while til I get to it. In the meantime, I'll be interested to hear what you think of it. After such a runaway success with her debut novel, the pressure must be weighing on Jane Harper to produce another bestseller...unfair pressure, really.

There have been many assisted passage schemes in Australia in the 20th century. Not sure which one is featured in the book you are reading. However, the National Archives website gives a good overview of the situation from Federation to outbreak of WW2, http://guides.naa.gov.au/more-people-...

This one is less about Aaron Falk and more about the events he is investigating. I see on GR that the ratings are virtually the same, but feedback I've had is that the first was better. I'll get back to you as I'm only 35% through at the moment.

I started Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty a few days ago. Not far in yet, I seem to have lost my reading mojo. 🙁
