I've just purchased Cooking with Kindness by Pam Ahern; one copy for me and one copy for a workmate who has helped me a lot with my new laptop. The recipes are vegan and the sale of the cookbook benefits Edgar's Mission, a farm animal sanctuary.

Sally, I love all of Maggie O'Farrell's fiction, this one is a memoir, so we shall see.
Going onto a thread such as this one only makes me wish I had so much more time to read, or at least, read at a faster pace than I do! There's quite a few on this page alone I'm keen to check out! I've used up some of my credits on Audible this evening, and these are the lucky ones chosen from my rather overwhelming wish list...
Ambulance Girls by Deborah Burrows
Without a Trace by Lesley Pearse
The Traitor's Girl by Christine Wells
The Missing Ones by Patricia Gibney
And my mum made very quick work of The Woman in the Wood, also by Lesley Pearse so I've borrowed that from her to (hopefully) read before the end of this final school term when I'll see her next!

I'll be very interested to see what you think of them, Kylie!
I have ordered Murder on the Toy Town Express by Barbara EarlyA percentage of royalties go to wildfire victims in California. My friend, Mark is a book blogger and has a character named after him in this book. Mark's brother has lost his home in these fires and Mark's parents have been under mandatory evacuation.
Op shop purchases this morningEx Libris: Confessions of a Common Reader by Anne Fadiman $2.99
Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty $2.99

Do you donate all of your books back to the OpShop Diana? You would need a lot of shelves otherwise: )Most of mine went to the OpShop or to the Chermside library if they were in good condition.

Yes, once they are read they go back to the op shop however my sister has told me about a Little Free Library run by the local council in her suburb so I am going to start putting books there as well.

I've been trying not to visit Netgalley until I reduce the number of books sitting on my shelf, but I must have clicked a few 'request' buttons in my sleep because today these turned up:
The Mistake by K.L. Slater
This Is How It Ends by Eva Dolan
Dying Breath: by Helen Phifer

Trying to keep away from Netgalley also but people keep posting great books 😉
I know Veronica, it's too tempting when people post interesting reviews and the book is just sitting there waiting to be asked for! And I can't help having a little browse whenever I go in to post a review .....
Call me a sucker but I can't resist looking there everyday. I do stop myself requesting unless it's one I really want, or an Aussie author. Instead I bookmark the page and I can think about it.....it has helped immensely doing it that way.
Oops! Also found
Anatomy of a Scandal by Sarah Vaughan on my Netgalley shelf this morning. Need to strap my button clicking finger down next time I have to go on the site!
