I wasn't totally satisfied with my 2017 choice for the Winter challenge, so I just treated myself to The End of the Day, the new Claire North book, to read instead. Much happier now.

I couldn't resist the 20% off either.
I've packed my books away now but I bought two Honey Brown books and three Pamela Freeman
Thrilled to pick up Geektastic: Stories from the Nerd Herd today at the op shop $4.99. More than I would usually pay for an op shop book but so many great authors in this compendium.

One series down. How many more are you collecting? :)

Very impressive. I think I'll stick with Sue Grafton and JD Robb. That's enough books for me now.
My son read the Artemis Fowl books years ago and he really liked them.

I know! I couldn't believe it when I saw the plain navy blue cover :( Never mind, the story will more than make up for it!

You could add it as a boring cover or a cover you don't like in the June Judging Covers challenge!

I can't Owl, because it doesn't show up on GR being an ARC - only the brilliant cover :) And it's already in my June challenge as the Scenic cover :)

Just picked up a copy of Dragon Teeth by Michael Crichton. At first I thought it was some re-release, but was more than a little surprised to see that it was actually a new book by him. It should be interesting to see what kind of story this "recently discovered" manuscript holds.

Picked up When Marnie Was There at the op shop this morning. $1.99 Was sold on it where it said Studio Ghibli has made an anime film of it.
I bought a few books at the Salvos yesterday; A Guide to Berlin, The Expatriates and The One Who Got Away. This will be my first Caroline Overington book, when I get around to reading it.
22 books from the Lifeline sale at $1 each. Too many to list here but all of them favourite authors and in spotless condition:) I am tempted to go back tomorrow!
