Oh I have most of the others too:)
My library is so good though. They supply me with more than half of what I need each month.

That's great! Saves having to buy them! My house is like a library so I don't usually have to borrow much - or buy either :/
So excited to receive this one from the publisher (early Christmas present!) - The Barbershop Girl and I love the colourful cover
by AA Georgina Penney

The Chemist by Stephenie Meyer
Pirate by Clive Cussler
True Faith and Allegiance by Mark Greaney
He did very well to pick books that I don't have :)

For anyone interested I also noticed The Last Painting of Sara de Vos is included in the 12 Days of Christmas promotion on Amazon. I can't remember the details, but less than $3.

You lucky girl Dale! Hours of blissful enjoyment there :)
I didn't get any books as my family say it's too hard ('You have everything already Mum'), unless I give them a wish list which I didn't this year. But I did get some DVDs, some nice champagne and champagne glasses :)

The Making of Outlander: The Official Guide to Seasons 1 & 2

Outlander Kitchen: The Official Outlander Companion Cookbook

The Outlandish Companion Volume 2

Bit of a theme going on there I think LOL
The Trouble with Henry and Zoe

& a gift voucher from one of my local bookshops :)

I bought my Mum, The Dressmakerand Anna Romer's new book, Beyond the Orchard; and I bought my Dad, The Martian
So over time I'll get to read all of these!
And I sneaky gave away a lot of this little pink book for Christmas - no surprises to any person here I'd say :)

I was being very smart last year and gave my mother a book I was really keen to read thinking I could read it when she had finished.
Some time later she told me it was fantastic and that she had given it to my niece. I never did get to read that book.

I almost didn't give her The Dressmaker, because just after I bought it I saw quite a few bad reviews of it (Brenda was one). But Mum just might like it? Hopefully Anna Romer balances her presents out. My odds of being passed those books at some stage are pretty high :)

Mr. Tea and the Traveling Teacup: A Madeline's Teahouse Mystery by Leslie Matthews Stansfield
The Arrivals by Meg Mitchell Moore
The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo by Amy Schumer

Thanks Marianne and Brenda.i am powering though them . Of course with family staying here no reviews being done as study is in use.

She thought I might like it as I am a keen birdwatcher - well she actually said boring twitcher - just as well she's a good friend ;)

I saw your review :)

The Metropolis Case by Matthew Gallaway. It's a debut, too, so I'm curious.
Whilst there I picked up a nf Acne and Rosacea: The Complete Guide by Alison Bowser and I picked up some old editions of ABC delicious mags. The patron before me picked up about ten issues of Marie Claire.. not bad for 20c each!
Also picked up Captain's Knock: Kaboom Kid #8 by David Warner for Cody. A pity he hasn't read 7 yet. Oops!

Hotel Honolulu has some varied reviews but the blurb sounds good to me. I'm looking forward to seeing what you think of this one Bette.
Jools can you put your finds (cheap kindle) in the Free/Low Priced kindle thread too please? That way the bargain hunters can pick up the deal if they want to :)

Whoops I thought this was lol! I'll move it now ;)

Then at the Gloucester community bookstore I picked up
The Perfect Husband by Lisa Gardner for $2
The Paris Wife by Paula McLain
Spin the Bottle and A Taste For It both by Monica McInerney for $2 and $4. There were lots more on my tbr but at $10 etc they didn't come home with me.

the book whisperer went out today too:
At Salvos
a surprise book for Jools $2
More Than This $3
At Vinnies
The Lost Boy $2
Into the Darkest Corner $2

Twenty seven new books! I'd be in heaven.

The Girl On The Landing by Paul Torday it is an uncorrected proof and has the most beautiful black and white cover that didn't seem to make it to publication.
Bridie's Choice by Karly Lane
Flame Tree Hill by Mandy Magro
