I think that happens sometimes as I occasionally get emails approving books I don't remember requesting .
Just received a paperback copy of Spare Change by Bette Lee Crosby which I won from the author some time back :)

I should say Brenda I am a spoiled Inner West of Sydney person and I have to drive 25 minutes in traffic to one which isn't far, I'm used to being able to get everywhere in 10 minutes so I'm just being a brat :-)

It is something different for her, I love her and will read anything she writes. Sounds interesting

Good to see some ARs winning. I'm not having much luck on either. Lots of bloggers giving away books also.

At $3 an inch it's not cheap either. It's a quick way of charging, they pile all your books up against a stick which is marked in inches and then just times it by three.

some good pickups there, Veronica!

I received in the post from Text Publishing today - The Rules of Backyard Cricket by Jock Serong
After they'd offered it to me, and I'd read the blurb, I said there was no way I would have chosen it to read otherwise from the title - but it's a crime thriller!
