Sounds interesting Julie. I learnt to sew on my Mum's old Singer treadle machine. It was an antique even back in the 70s!

Did you buy the hardcover of Dick & Angel’s book? If so, is it lavishly illustrated? Apparently they narrate the audiobook edition themselves.

I looked at the hardcover but it didn't seem to have any additional content so I bought the paperback. It was slightly cheaper.
From my local Anglicare op shop I picked up My Brilliant Friend by Elena FerranteHave not read this author but I have been told this is a great series.
I had to go to the dentist so I checked the nearby Vinnies and scored one on my wishlist: Cold Kill $3

On our return from the Riley Rally in Broken Hill, we stopped at Molong and I just caught the Vinnies before they closed: $5 for these three altogether Inland Life After Truth and The Taking of Annie Thorne
