I really loved Alice from this author because it was dark and twisted, so The Mermaid was a little too tame for me lol. I have been seeing on Facebook, everyone’s great discounted books they have picked up from their local post office so thought I would check out mine. I bought Something in the Wine by Tricia Stringer. They had lots of cheaper books too but this was one I’ve been wanting for a while.
Having got my Acquired-unread bookshelf down to under 100, I went to a local second hand store and swapped some old books for store credit. I just could not help it, and now I am over 100 again..
I have read some of them before, but not for a long time and they are difficult to get one's hands on. So I could not resist.
