Hey Esther! I just finished it recently! It was okay. I really loved Alice from this author because it was dark and twisted, so The Mermaid was a little too tame for me lol. It's got some interesting themes and characters but it wasn't quite as twisted as I was hoping for.

Suzanne, welcome to the group! I'll get you to link those books if you don't mind. (We all like to check each others' books out and can't without the link) If you're not sure how to do it - "edit" bottom right hand corner, then at the top of the comment box is "add book/author". Click there and follow the prompts.

Thanks and good luck!

Deb Omnivorous Reader | 1929 comments Having got my Acquired-unread bookshelf down to under 100, I went to a local second hand store and swapped some old books for store credit. I just could not help it, and now I am over 100 again..
Coils by Roger Zelazny Blood of Amber (The Chronicles of Amber #7) by Roger Zelazny Prince of Chaos (The Chronicles of Amber #10) by Roger Zelazny The Last Battle (Chronicles of Narnia, #7) by C.S. Lewis The Adventure of the Christmas Pudding (Hercule Poirot #33) by Agatha Christie Wintersmith (Discworld, #35) by Terry Pratchett

I have read some of them before, but not for a long time and they are difficult to get one's hands on. So I could not resist.
